Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth, He’s a Jerk!

One day climate change skeptics will be seen in the same negative light as racists, or so says former Vice President Al Gore, flame thrower and global warming terrorist.

I can’t believe I once voted for this guy, defended him on occasion when I thought the MSM had unfairly characterized some of his comments about his having invented the Internet. You’ll have to forgive me, this was at a time when I thought the MSM actually reported the news!

sodahead.com

The truth is when Gore lost to Bush 43, regardless of the debacle in Florida, Gore couldn’t carry his own state, Tennessee. Seems to me the voters in Tennessee were ahead of the curve on this one!

Think about that for a moment.  Can you imagine Reagan winning the White House without California, or Bush without Texas, or Carter winning without Georgia? Of course not!

I know I’m not the only one who thinks Gore is a little creepy. Remember that kkkkissss he laid on Tipper the night he won the Democratic nomination for Prez? Geez, getta room will ya!

CNN’s Jack Cafferty, a man I almost never agree with, once called Gore a pompous ass.

This last time around when he started calling “global warming deniers” racists was just too much for me!

The truth is global warming is scripted terrorism, an excuse for Gore and his Progressive pals in the MSM,  in Congress and the White House to push forward their phony green agenda.

Now should anyone think this writer must be one of those “Conservative naysayers” who have never seen an environmental problem any time or anywhere, you can pack it up bub!

I am a practical environmentalist who writes, Say No to Plastics, and who puts her money where her mouth is. Does the world have serious environmental problems? Yes, but global warming isn’t one of them.

The lack of fresh clean water is a very serious problem, one that will be a cause of water wars in the future as is our insane use of single use and convenience plastics.

There is so much plastic in our oceans and streams that will not biodegrade in the form of plastic bags, bottles, and other trash that it kills hundreds of thousands of birds, fish, and mammals yearly. Plastic trash has started to seep into the food chain as entire species are being decimated thoughtlessly. Our plastic trash is helping to destroy some of the world’s ocean ecosystems!

All of which leads us back to Al Gore and his latest hysterical rant on global warming. For those who missed Gore’s offensive conflation of global warming deniers with racists, here it is.

THE GREAT GLOBAL WARMING HOAX

Want to make a conservative, independent, libertarian, or Tea Party member mad?  Lie to them.  Want to make a “progressive”, Obamabot, or liberal mad?  Tell them the truth!

Gotta say, I was pulled into the global warming scam too.  I believed the junk science that Al Gore and his slew of acolytes were spewing out and feeding us.  Did I have my doubts and hesitations?  Yes, on occasion I did (remember Time Magazine told us we were entering a new Ice Age in 1974), but now that we know that global warming data has been cooked, I’m mad.  As I sit here in the Deep South where the temperature was 15 degrees when I awoke this morning, I’m not a happy camper.I’m cold and I’m pissed.

As I’ve begun my own investigations into the subject, it is clear, that the “evidence” was never overwhelming.  Hey, but what a great way to raise donations, sell books, and movies etc.  Seems the earth’s temperatures have actually been cooling for the last ten years, but the MSM and MSNBC (in particular & where green is Universal) never reported that did they?

Climate and climate changes are much more complicated than releasing too much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.  Our temperatures are impacted by forces that are greater than man’s impact on the environment.  Those factors include the earth’s tilt and axis just for starters.  FYI, here’s a little known fact that can be easily checked.  The great Sahara desert turns green about 20,000 years.  Want to read more about this here and here.

In the meantime, thanks to Frozengore.com for their work. (As an aside, can you believe I actually voted for this nimrod?)

Take a look at the Climate Change Timeline and view the number of times we’ve been told the climate is getting warmer … no, make that cooler … no, make that warmer! Oh, hell!

For at least 114 years, climate “scientists” have been claiming that the climate was going to kill us…but they have kept switching whether it was a coming ice age, or global warming.

  • 1981 – Global Warming – “of an almost unprecedented magnitude” – New York Times
  • 1988 – I would like to draw three main conclusions. Number one, the earth is warmer in 1988 than at any time in the history of instrumental measurements. Number two, the global warming is now large enough that we can ascribe with a high degree of confidence a cause and effect relationship to the greenhouse effect. And number three, our computer climate simulations indicate that thegreenhouse effect is already large enough to begin to effect the probability of extreme events such as summer heat waves. – Jim Hansen, June 1988 testimony before Congress, see His later quote and His superior’s objection for context
  • 1989 -”On the one hand, as scientists we are ethically bound to the scientific method, in effect promising to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but – which means that we must include all doubts, the caveats, the ifs, ands and buts. On the other hand, we are not just scientists but human beings as well. And like most people we’d like to see the world a better place, which in this context translates into our working to reduce the risk of potentially disastrous climate change. To do that we need to get some broad based support, to capture the public’s imagination. That, of course, means getting loads of media coverage. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have. This “double ethical bind” we frequently find ourselves in cannot be solved by any formula. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest. I hope that means being both.” – Stephen Schneider, lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Discover magazine, October 1989

  • 2003 – Emphasis on extreme scenarios may have been appropriate at one time, when the public and decision-makers were relatively unaware of the global warming issue, and energy sources such as “synfuels,” shale oil and tar sands were receiving strong consideration” – Jim Hansen, NASA Global Warming activist, Can we defuse The Global Warming Time Bomb?, 2003
  • 2006 – “I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous it is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are, and how hopeful it is that we are going to solve this crisis.” — Al Gore, Grist magazine, May 2006
  • Now: The global mean temperature has fallen for two years in a row, which is why you stopped hearing details about the actual global temperature, even while they carry on about taxing you to deal with it…how long before they start predicting an ice age?

THE SUPREME COURT GETS IT WRONG THREE ELECTIONS IN A ROW

I voted for Gore in 2000 and watched with disbelief when the Supreme Court decided to take on Bush v Gore . . . disbelief because the method Florida decided to use to count the 2000 election votes should have remained with Florida. Federal intervention was not necessary, period.

It was an unprincipled decision that the Supremes in their “infinite wisdom” decided should apply solely to this case … that it could not be used as precedent for future cases. Cute, right? The majority of the court acted improperly (States rights, anyone?) and politically (5 Republican Justices) and some would say corruptly.

I still remember the number of people who questioned whether Scalia’s vote was because he wanted to position himself to be the next choice as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

What was shattered, along with the Constitution, was our belief in the incorruptibility of the Supreme Court justices. We witnessed, first hand, that the Supremes are as political as the rest of the hacks in this country that pretend to be fair and impartial and whose actions show the opposite reality. Legions of Americans have hoped that the Supremes would, once again behave with honor and dignity . . . alas as Donofrio,Berg, etal have witnessed, that will not take place.

The following is from an excellent article in Salon (written in 2000) . . . back when Salon was a source one could trust. It is a superior article that reviews several books written by legal authorities, including Alan Dershowitz, Vincent Bugliosi, Richard H. Pildes, and Cass R. Sunstein and Richard A. Epstein.

I urge anyone that has been fighting the good fight, trying to get our legislators, elected officials, and the courts to take an intellectually honest look at Obama and the Constitutional crisis brought on because Obama will not (cannot) present any documentation (exception the forged COLB on the Internet) proving he meets the eligibility requirements for POTUS as a natural born citizen to read the article. It may give you additional insight as to how to proceed. The article begins:

Supreme Court to democracy: Drop dead

With a single rash, partisan act, the high court has tainted the Bush presidency, besmirched its own reputation and soiled our nation’s proudest legacy.

By Gary Kamiya

Dec. 14, 2001 | Tuesday, Dec. 12, is a day that will live in American infamy long after the tainted election of George W. Bush has faded from memory. With their rash, divisive decision to dispense with the risky and inconvenient workings of democracy and simply award the presidency to their fellow Republican, five right-wing justices dragged the Supreme Court down to perhaps its most ignominious point since the Dred Scott decision.

supreme-idiots1

With this as a back drop, should anyone really be surprised that the Supremes are, again, turning backs on the Constitution? Are we really so surprised that there isn’t a single backbone among them? Is it really so surprising ?

Why, when we have legitimate Constitutional questions will the Supremes not act? Self interest, perhaps? Lack of integrity, courage, intellectual honesty, impartiality? Some of these . . . all of these?

The far reaching impact of the Supreme Court’s decision to dismiss the cases brought thus far on technical issues (standing, wrong format, didn’t cross a “t” or an “i” was missing) is monumental. We have witnessed numerous people run for the office of POTUS we know are ineligible because they are not “natural born citizens” Obama (until he proves he is), Bill Richardson, Roger Calero and still the Supremes remain silent on an issue that effects every citizen of this country!

There is an element of power and, perhaps inevitably, self-interest in all judicial decisions. As Sunstein remarked, “We’ve tended to have too idealized a view of the court.” But the idea that justice must be blind, that the most powerful court in the world — and arguably the most powerful institution in the country — must not sink into brazen partisanship, is a bedrock principle . . . ( change & emphasis mine )that they have failed to live up to!

We must stand by it, and those justices who violate it must be held accountable. By failing to live up to their judicial oath, by allowing political motivations to sway them, by besmirching democracy itself, the five members of the (change and emphasis mine) 2009 Supreme Court majority will have disgraced themselves forever.

From history’s judgment, there will be no appeal.

HILLARY’S COURAGE . . . LESSONS the MEDIA & a HOST of DEMOCRATS COULD TAKE FROM HRC’S CAMPAIGN

Courage takes on many forms, sadly, it is rarely used in conjunction with women, their sacrifice and hard work.

Like many, I’ve been watching the terrific HBO series John Adams, fascinated & quite taken back with both John and Abigail Adams.

John was a complicated man. Tenacious and honest, he was blessed with great intellect. He also had genuine affection and deep love for his wife and family. He was conflicted with the many absences he and his family had to withstand while he was on this country’s business. John Adams was also bullheaded, (some said) vain and occasionally tone deaf both in his personal and political life; a complicated man to be sure.

Abigail was a wonderful woman, John’s equal in every way . . . his rock, lover, friend. John was absent 7 of the first 14 years they were married, leaving Abigail alone to singlehandedly school and care for their children, plant the crops to feed them, make their clothes, survive illness, etc. etc. These selfless acts of necessity took courage, the kind of courage that is often overlooked or dismissed.

This country is most fortunate that John, Abigail, and their contemporaries were willing to sacrifice so much so that we might benefit from their vision of a political system where all men and women are created equal. How can one not ask if the hand of the Divine didn’t play some part in the birth of United States of America . . . particularly since both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both died 50 years to the day the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1826.

And what does this have to do with Hillary’s courage? I’ve been thinking about the onslaught and barrage of negativism Hillary faced on a daily basis because she was a woman and because she was Bill’s wife.

For the misogynistic morons (that’s most of the media, both male and female, especially MSNBC, Keith Olbermann, and Chris “cheap shot” Matthews) who want to jump ugly, suck it in. Hillary didn’t lose because she was a woman, however, the constant drum beat of hate filled speech didn’t help her candidacy or the country.

YouTube Preview Image

It was shameful demonstration of how far we still have to travel when it comes to respecting women and their points of view. BTW, just because there were woman jumped on the “Bash Hillary bandwagon” that doesn’t mean their comments were any less hateful, hurtful, or misogynistic. Yup, women can be “suck ups” and jerks too!

I don’t know how Hillary had the strength and fortitude to get up every day facing this negativism before she uttered one word on the campaign trail. She did, and this country owes her a debt of gratitude.

While she was fighting against incredible odds, against “conventional wisdom”, against the backdrop of a Obama biased media, shouts for her to get out, the machinations of Howard Dean and the DNC, the following took place:

  • more people registered to vote than ever before

  • more people cast votes in primaries than ever before

  • 18,000,000 people cast votes just for Hillary

  • this contest went down to the wire and States like South Dakota, Colorado, etc. had a voice in the outcome for the first time in my memory

  • her candidacy took this country to a place it had never gone before and in the process this democracy is stronger, more voters young and old are participating . . . and that’s a very good thing!

If Hillary’s critics had had their way, Obama’s selection would have taken place months earlier and the voices of millions of voters across this country would never have been heard.

Since we’re talking about courage and tenacity have you ever wondered why:

  • Gore didn’t have more of tenacity in 2000? Yes, his case went to the Supreme Court, but he still had options that he refused to consider. What if he’d fought on? Where would this country’s energy policy be today? Think we’d be facing a recession and gas at $4 a gallon? Would there have been a 9-11 or war in Iraq? We’ll never know.

  • While talking about courage and tenacity, why didn’t Kerry contest the voting in Ohio in 2004? There were so many irregularities that it remains incomprehensible to me why he didn’t fight. How much courage and tenacity would that have taken? In my book, not much. Even a cursory look shows massive voting irregularities and fraud. This is a mystery that Stephen Marks brings up in his book Confessions of a Political Hitman.

  • Question: Mr. Dean while one of your party’s female candidates was taking a brutal sexist beating in the press by the MSM how much courage would it have taken to go on record with the media, putting them “on notice” and saying, “enough!” Answer: More courage than you had, given the fact you made no secret of the fact you were really supporting Obama.

Mr. Obama we already know you’ll do and say anything to get elected so we don’t have to ask why YOU didn’t say something about the reprehensible sexist behavior of the MSM when they were “reporting” on Hillary.

Your only acknowledgment of Hillary’s fight was made during the “unity” appearance when you were looking for votes from her supporters! What a joke. Seems to me that a real man would have stopped his campaign and delivered a speech to the media, his supporters, and the world that he didn’t want to win in such a scurrilous manner.

What sir, will you tell your daughters if they suffer the residual effects of sexism because you were silent????

Here’s something else, a savvy politician would have seen the benefits of doing this. You made a speech about racism and you should have made one on sexism. Had you done so, many in us in Hillary’s army would hold a different opinion of you now.

Now all we’re left with is the question I have been asking for months, “how much courage does it take to cast a vote?” Until someone presents facts to the contrary, you are the only politician I am aware of who has placed 130 present votes, not yes or no . . . present!

Like I said, courage takes many forms!

AL GORE ENDORSES BARACK OBAMA . . . NO ONE CARES!

Can someone tell me what the Gore endorsement of Obama was all about?  The DNC’s selective nominee was chosen 2 weeks ago, and as expected (by those of us not drinking the Kool-Aid) Obama didn’t get the big bounce he was supposed to get.  Obama’s been out and about trashing McCain’s age, (because that’s what one does when running a campaign of change),  generally  living up to the low expectations Hillary’s army of supporters predicted and suddenly Al decides to endorse Barack. Why the endorsement now and who is it that was supposed to care?

Mercifully, if you were watching FOX at the time of Gore’s endorsement speech, you saw a FOX split screen with Gore’s speech on mute while the balance of the FOX show continued.  I did surf over to MSNBC and CNN momentarily to hear what Al had to say and then flipped back ASAP.  Ten seconds was all I could tolerate . . . no one’s that strong, are they?

I’d forgotten how supremely annoying his voice and demeanor are . . . and I voted  for him  in 2000.  Ironically, Al Gore, the man cheated out of the presidency with over a 500,000 more votes than his opponent, whose presidency was stolen by the Supreme Court’s selection of G. W. Bush was endorsing a another selected candidate with fewer votes than than his opponent.

REVOLVER

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

George Orwell.

besides…

Herman Cain can become the Peoples President. Unlike Obama, Cain’s grassroots support is real not manufactured.

THE PEOPLES PRESIDENT 2012

Herman Cain crushed the so-called first tier candidates Mitt Romney (aka mittens) and Rick Perry in yesterday’s Florida straw poll. Cain’s win is important enough to bring international interest, with the International Business Times calling it a new race.

Surprise, surprise. surprise, (not!) the Sunday talk shows are chattering about Cain defeating Romney and Perry in the Florida straw poll.

What is left unsaid is that the real surprise to them is that the voters are not following the MSM & GOP elites narrative on who is likely to run against the fraud Obama.

Their narrative has no room for Herman Cain and so they barely/rarely cover him. Why bring attention to a man who can really turn this country around, right? And so they speak his name in whispers or not at all! All of that changed yesterday.

One of the lessons to be learned in the 2012 election is name recognition isn’t everything. It’s the message that counts! Simply put so even a Progressive “journalist” can understand, the truth will out!

What the GOP elites and the MSM fail to realize, is that they have made themselves increasingly irrelevant to the voters of America. They are as tone deaf to the voters as Obama is to capitalism.

A Cain victory over Obama is payback by the Birthers and independents for the GOP’s failure to tell the truth about Obama’s ineligibility. It is payback for knowingly leading the nation astray. Obama’s a fake and everyone knows it, with the possible exception of the most rabid Obots.

Even worse than Obama’s fraudulent presidency (Born a Brit, not Legit) has been his clear inability to perform the tasks at hand. BHO likes the pomp and circumstance. but the work needed to truly be the POTUS. God, he is such a waste, such an empty suit!

Unlike Romney (picked by Rove) and Perry (said to be NWO), Cain is not a  bought man, and that boys ‘n girls is like a breath of fresh air.  Unlike Obama, Cain thankfully is not a Progressive!

Over at American Thinker the question was posed, “Is the Cain win an anyone but Romney vote?”  I think not. Cain is the real deal, and he’s Obama’s worst nightmare!

OBAMA BORN A BRIT NOT LEGIT
Let's be clear. The eligibility requirement for POTUS is natural born citizen, not naturalized citizen, not native born citizen, not citizen of the United States.
Each type of citizenship has a legal definition and is very specific despite the attempts by Team Obama, the co-conspirators in the judiciary, Congress, and the MSM to conflate the terms and bastardize the Presidency.
