ARLEN SPECTER TO BECOME A DEMOCRAT ! PIGS FLY! UPDATED

Well,  I heard this a few hours ago, but I still don’t believe it!

President Obama speaks at Fiscal Responsibility Summit in Washington

Republican of the first Order, Senator Arlen Specter, is switching parties to become (ARGH!) a Democrat?  Say What?  Check the calendar, is it April 1st?  This is a joke, right? Right?

Although Specter has never been a favorite of mine, when I lived in Pennsylvania I did vote for him. Yes, it is true a (at the time) registered Democrat voted for a Republican.  Why? Because as quaint as the notion seems today, I believe voting for a candidate’s policy positions is more important than voting for a candidate’s fleeting popularity.  We’re supposed to be acting like adults by balancing the pro & cons of each candidate.  We’re not  supposed to be voting for Prom Queen or Class President.

Politicians occasionally change political parties from time to time.  This isn’t new.  But what can possibly explain this switch? I’m actually angry about this change because a man I always considered to be a principled politician has turned out to be just another political hack putting his ambitions ahead of the constituents of his state.

Which leads me to ask the following questions.  How big was the payoff?  Why is this man selling out?  Does Arlen really think that switching parties will help him retain his seat in the Senate?

I could be wrong, but if Specter thinks switching parties will save him, I say guess again.  If I were still living in PA I’d vote against him, just on the principle alone.  Arlen you remember what principle means, don’t you?

This is from America’s Right:

Nothing happens by accident. Not in this administration. Not with everyone following in lockstep with the Leninesque “the worse, the better” mentality. Obviously, Arlen Specter is not exactly known for his principled decision-making, and for him this was certainly more about self-preservation than anything else. Still, given that even just nine days ago it seemed as though he was intent upon facing Toomey head-on in the Republican primary, I cannot help but think that something is up, that Specter is being used, that somebody else has a few ulterior motives. (italics mine)

Like I said yesterday, why is this man selling out?

HOW GOOD IS PALIN? IT’S POSSIBLE MCCAIN WOULD HAVE CHOSEN HER EVEN IF HILLARY WAS ON THE DEM’S TICKET

To anyone that doesn’t recognize how brilliant McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin is, might I suggest you are one of people that usually sees the trees and misses the forest. If one is looking at the totality of what she brings to the ticket, it’s easy to see why there is panic on the Dem’s side.

Let me state up front, I have never been excited about a Republican candidate, never, not once! I’ve been a Democrat/Independent all of my life. I’m a PUMA now and proud of it, a Hillary supporter that is excited to see a person like Sarah Palin, not because she’s a woman, but because she is the type of person we need in Washington who happens to be a woman!

There were were exceptions over the years. I did vote for Dick Thornberg when he ran for Governor of Pennsylvania. He was Republican and a great governor. When he left office, he left the state with surplus. Bob Casey followed Thornberg. A Democrat, when he left, he left the state with a deficit. Need I say more?

So, how good is Sarah Palin? I think even if Hillary had been on the Democratic ticket that McCain would have chosen her. She’s a reformer, a maverick, a woman with a record of accomplishment that includes lowering taxes in Alaska, meeting corruption head on and defeating it, a woman tough enough to head to head with the oil companies and win for the people in her state.

Know what else, she’s as tough as Hillary. Anyone that can play on a winning state championship basketball team with a stress fracture has my admiration . . . big time. I say this as a woman who has competed in many sports and as a former coach . . . that’s true grit, that’s tough . . . toughness that could meet any challenge as Vice President or President.

Had the Democrats been smart enough to make Hillary the party’s nominee, Sarah would have been great as “counter programming” on the Republican ticket. To anyone that wants to compare Palin to Dan Quayle, might I suggest that, that kind of comparison makes you sound stupid!

Hillary challenged Obama to a “bowl off” when they were in Pennsylvania. If Sarah challenges Obama to “shoot off” on the basketball court, I‘m putting my money on Sarah! Here’s another thing we know . . . she wouldn’t go duck hunting with a six-shooter! :-)

HOW THE RADICAL DEM’S & OBAMA WILL LOSE THE GENERAL ELECTION

Saturday’s meeting of the Democratic Party’s rules committee to decide the fate of millions of voters in MI and Florida was, at best, a Pyrrhic victory for the Obama campaign.

Sad to say, I was right. Despite all the pretext and the jabbering about fairness, the outcome was preordained . . . “the fix was in” and everything that followed was for show.

At least this flagrant demonstration of partisanship and favoritism on the part of the rules committee has made imminently easier to either vote for McCain or write HRC’s name in.

Let’s get this straight . . . the Democratic Party will not be united in November. Obama and his gang of insufferable manipulators will be defeated, aided and abetted the Howard Dean, the DNC, and the media. Why?

  • Who hasn’t the Obama team insulted, demeaned, or dissed during the campaign? The list includes women, Hispanics & Latinos, blue color workers, the “bitter” contingency, any person or group that refused to sip the Kool Aid.

  • Many of Hillary’s supporters don’t give a damn about the Democratic Party anymore. Why should they care about a party that doesn’t care about them?

  • Trying to portray McCain as an extension of Bush is a loosing strategy. Too many of us liked McCain better than Kerry the last go ‘round and would have voted for him if he had become the Republican nominee.

  • We won’t forget how the media, and a host of Hillary haters, bashed her throughout the campaign. We won’t forget the sexism, and race baiting that was hurled at her time and time again.

  • Obama’s record of real accomplishment is slim indeed. His voting record is a travesty of incompetence and neglect. How can anyone forgive his 100 plus “present” votes? He didn’t have the courage to vote either “yes” or “no” over 100 times!

  • Kiss Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and a host of battleground states that Hillary won “goodbye.Obama’s supporters and base (the black community, youth voters, and the wine and cheese set) isn’t large enough to defeat McCain’s base that will include many of the voters Obama pissed off during his quest for the DP nomination.

  • Rev. Wright, Michelle’s comments, Father Pfleger, the American flag pin uproar, William Ayers, and a host of other missteps will be hung around Obama and his defeat.

  • If the Obama team and the media think all that is necessary to change women’s votes is to wave the “abortion Roe vs. Wade flag” . . . guess again!

  • Bush’s polling numbers may be at a historic low, but Congress is polling even lower! This country doesn’t need the presidency and Congress controlled by one party, yet again. The Republicans proved what that combination brings . . . absolute corruption!

REVOLVER

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

George Orwell.

besides…

Herman Cain can become the Peoples President. Unlike Obama, Cain’s grassroots support is real not manufactured.

THE PEOPLES PRESIDENT 2012

Herman Cain crushed the so-called first tier candidates Mitt Romney (aka mittens) and Rick Perry in yesterday’s Florida straw poll. Cain’s win is important enough to bring international interest, with the International Business Times calling it a new race.

Surprise, surprise. surprise, (not!) the Sunday talk shows are chattering about Cain defeating Romney and Perry in the Florida straw poll.

What is left unsaid is that the real surprise to them is that the voters are not following the MSM & GOP elites narrative on who is likely to run against the fraud Obama.

Their narrative has no room for Herman Cain and so they barely/rarely cover him. Why bring attention to a man who can really turn this country around, right? And so they speak his name in whispers or not at all! All of that changed yesterday.

One of the lessons to be learned in the 2012 election is name recognition isn’t everything. It’s the message that counts! Simply put so even a Progressive “journalist” can understand, the truth will out!

What the GOP elites and the MSM fail to realize, is that they have made themselves increasingly irrelevant to the voters of America. They are as tone deaf to the voters as Obama is to capitalism.

A Cain victory over Obama is payback by the Birthers and independents for the GOP’s failure to tell the truth about Obama’s ineligibility. It is payback for knowingly leading the nation astray. Obama’s a fake and everyone knows it, with the possible exception of the most rabid Obots.

Even worse than Obama’s fraudulent presidency (Born a Brit, not Legit) has been his clear inability to perform the tasks at hand. BHO likes the pomp and circumstance. but the work needed to truly be the POTUS. God, he is such a waste, such an empty suit!

Unlike Romney (picked by Rove) and Perry (said to be NWO), Cain is not a  bought man, and that boys ‘n girls is like a breath of fresh air.  Unlike Obama, Cain thankfully is not a Progressive!

Over at American Thinker the question was posed, “Is the Cain win an anyone but Romney vote?”  I think not. Cain is the real deal, and he’s Obama’s worst nightmare!

OBAMA BORN A BRIT NOT LEGIT
Let's be clear. The eligibility requirement for POTUS is natural born citizen, not naturalized citizen, not native born citizen, not citizen of the United States.
Each type of citizenship has a legal definition and is very specific despite the attempts by Team Obama, the co-conspirators in the judiciary, Congress, and the MSM to conflate the terms and bastardize the Presidency.
