Here are the statistics. According to Investors.com Palin’s endorsement record is impressive. Of the 36 candidates facing contested primaries that she has endorsed, 25 have won. That’s a win ratio of just under 70%. Opps, looks like the grass roots Tea Party movement is the real deal!
Sarah Palin, the tough, astute, savvy politician that the MSM and their Democratic/Progressive pals are fond of mocking and portraying as a dullard is whipping the pants off the Washington establishment.
Portraying Palin, the Tea Party, and conservatives of every persuasion as racists (that one’s getting old isn’t it?) spoilers, angry, and demented has come with a price … defeat at the ballot box! Yes!
It has been grand fun listening to the pundits on MSNBC and CNN, and the likes of Bill Maher and the hideous Michael (can I squeeze another cheeseburger into my mouth) Moore continue to rant and wring their hands as they get the Tea Party movement wrong! They still don’t get it! I’m guessing that’s because they have no concept of what it means to act on principle and hold adherence to the law as an American ideal.
They continue to rant:
that the Tea Party is leaderless and will never impact the country (leaderless in vague sort of way, yes, but the TP impact is transformative). The flip side of that coin is that Sarah Palin (and Rush, and Shawn, and Glenn) all lead the Tea Party (definitely wrong) and are in bed with the GOP (wrong, again as the O’Donnell win in Delaware demonstrates). The TP hates Obama (wrong, his policies not the man). Those in the multitude of Tea Party organizations across the country don’t understand the Constitution (Really?), they are afraid of Mexicans (no, we just want our laws enforced and our borders protected).
And, we must not forget the standard delegitimizations; Palin, conservatives, Tea Party members, and all those who oppose Obamacare, TARP, and the radical agenda of the Democratic Progressives are white, uneducated, gun loving, frightened, confused, and myopic … incapable of seeing the greatness of Socialism and the New World Order.
The real shock though has come from Karl Rove and the other sore losers in the establishment GOP in Delaware, Alaska, and elsewhere in the country. Christine O’Donnell won in Delaware because her opponent voted for TARP and increasing the deficit, Cap ‘n Trade, and would not support the repeal of Obamacare. O’Donnell’s opponent, Mike Castle, was worse than a RINO (Republican in Name Only)!
And it gets better. Harry Reid recently called Chris Coons avowed Marxist and O’Donnell’s opponent in November, his pet! God, gag me with a spoon! (Where is that barf bag?)
What does all of this mean? Well, here’s a heads up for those currently in power (Republicans and Democrats alike) who continue to disregard the obvious.
The American people have found their voice. Our expressed wishes for the direction of the country will no longer be diminished, disrespected, and ignored. In the very same way the MSM and the liberals and Progressives on cable have made themselves and their companies irrelevant, so too are the two controlling political parties in the country racing to make themselves irrelevant. Christine O’Donnell’s win wasn’t a fluke … her win is the future!
Now, the question is will the former power brokers in the Democratic and Republican parties go the way of the horse and buggy!
