WHY THE SUDDEN PUSH FOR PUERTO RICO STATEHOOD, WHY IN SECRET, AND WHY NOW?

This is another hugely important story that the MSM has ignored. If it hadn’t been for Glenn Beck’s show two days ago no one would have been aware of the stealth move to force Puerto Rico in statehood.

YouTube Preview Image

I don’t know about you, but it seems pretty damn important if Congress is considering the addition of a 51st state. According to Beck’s show Puerto Rico has voted 3 times on whether they wanted to become part of the United States and 3 times the answer was no.  But that hasn’t derailed those folks in Congress.  After all, they don’t listen to us, why would anyone think they would acknowledge the desires of the Puerto Ricans?  Can anyone spell “healthcare?”

Puerto Ricans  are proud people that think of themselves at Latin Americans and not North American Anglos.  Is it any wonder they have declined our “invitation” into statehood?

There are two very important articles to read about the latest slight of hand the first if  from Hot Air.

House to vote on Puerto Rico statehood bill tomorrow

posted  by Allahpundit

Beck was talking about this today so people are e-mailing us about it now. I should be clear: The vote isn’t on whether to make Puerto Rico a state, it’s whether to “authorize” the Puerto Rican government to hold a popular referendum on whether it should become a state. From what I understand, though, Puerto Ricans don’t need any authorization from Congress to hold a plebiscite; they can do it any time they want. The fact that the House is nudging them — and the way that they’re nudging them — is what’s got people’s antennae up. With good reason, says the Heritage Foundation:

The second is from The Hill.

Why the rush on the Puerto Rico statehood bill? (Rep. Luis Gutierrez)

This statehood bill is the opposite of self-determination.

It is designed to craft an artificial majority for statehood where none exists now. Every time the people of Puerto Rico have been consulted on this issue through a plebiscite they’ve said NO to Statehood. NO to Statehood in 1967. NO to Statehood in 1993. NO to Statehood in 1998. This should be called the “Don’t you dare say NO to Statehood Bill”.

Why is it that the when the people of the District of Columbia repeatedly and overwhelmingly ask for Statehood, Congress ignores them, and when the people of Puerto Rico, who have never asked for statehood and who have actually said ‘no’ to statehood three times get this statehood bill pushed on them in a rush…with little or no debate?

OBAMA,COAKLEY, & THE DEMS IMPLODING … SCOTT BROWN WILL WIN

I’ve been watching the Coakley/Brown  race for Teddy Kennedy’s the People’s Senate seat in Massachusetts with amusement and fascination.

The last few days have shown the world that there is no gutter the desperate Dems won’t get into, no evil or despicable act they will pass on, no lie too big for the Dems and team Obama.  Character assassination?  No problemo!   So what if Brown didn’t really vote to prevent women from getting rape kits!  The pictures looked good didn’t they? Besides isn’t this the same foolproof BS that got the Constitutionally ineligible fraud elected President?

Ya, well I guess you really can fool some of the people all the time, but not this time Sparky!  The people are feed up with back room deals, all the overspending and under-performing. They are tired of the excuses, the phony rhetoric, the bailouts, the 37 Czars, the lack of transparency, and being taken for granted.

CNN is reporting that the White House is predicting a Coakley loss.

Oh, boo hoo! But even better is this, Hot Air is reporting that when the Big O arrived at his venue to speak barely 1,500 people were there … not counting the hecklers … yes, I said hecklers!

Regardless of the motivation, the result speaks for itself. While Scott Brown drew at least 3,000 for his big rally this afternoon, Obama struggled to fill his venue:

But Obama and a parade of Democrats who appeared on stage before a crowd a local fire official put at 1,100 at Northeastern University’s modest gymnasium spent much of their time trying to explain to the audience, and to themselves, how they had lost their grip on the public “anger” – a word that has replaced “hope” as the emotion Democrats seek to channel.

He couldn’t fill a hall for Deval Patrick in October, either. If Coakley was looking for a game-changer, she’s going to be disappointed.

Update: The Boston Globe puts Obama’s rally at 1500 and Brown’s at 2200 (in the main room), but makes the point that the President got overshadowed by the state Senator!

And if you think things can’t get worse, you’d be wrong. Teddy Kennedy’s home town paper, the Cape Cod Times has just endorsed Scott Brown.

In his last re-election to the state Senate in 2008, Brown won by a 59-41 percent margin. Part of his success comes from his willingness to work with Democrats on important issues.

“I would not have been overwhelmingly re-elected if I didn’t know how to work across party lines,” Brown said in the primary. “If the Democrats have a good idea, I’d be happy to vote with them.”

Brown is exactly what Washington needs — someone who will vote his conscience rather than spew party rhetoric.

The notion of change as an important ingredient here cannot be underestimated, not because the Democrats are necessarily on the wrong path, but because good government is enhanced by two viable parties.

In the special Senate election on Tuesday, we recommend Scott Brown.

WHO KNEW ANN COULTER & MICHELLE MALKIN WERE SO SMART?

If you read this blog on a regular basis you know I am a political moderate, Hillary & Bill supporter, past Democrat now independent and a PUMA and proud of it.

I’m one of those white, college educated women so (newly) prized by the Donna Brazille, Howard Dean, Obama team … I’m one of the women who saw Hillary decimated by the new dirty Democratic Party who threw off the yoke of their stupidity and insane desire to win regardless of the cost of integrity, decency, and honor.

So, why quote Ann Coulter? She’s never been a friend of the Clinton’s (understatement!) or democrats or moderates, for that matter. It always seemed to me her position on everything was rigid and neo-con or else!

My opinion of her started to change last year when she along with a long list of conservatives, including FOX News defended Don Imus. Then in March, when the MSM was dumping on Hillary, Coulter was using terms like “our plucky girl Hillary” and it was clear even if she didn’t support Hillary’s politics she was in support for fair and decent treatment . . . neither of which Hillary received from most of the MSM and her own party.

Which brings me to today and a recent column of Coulter’s on John McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin. There’s a deliciously snarky comment about the idiot Olbermann, Chris (who me a misogynist?) Matthews, and MSNBC. Please read it, it’s good stuff!

As for Michelle Malkin, who’d of thunk it? Hot Air, a Malkin site, is on my blogroll! On any given day, people like myself are sure to find a few points they agree with in her posts.

Who knows if I’ll still feel this way after John McCain and Sarah Palin are elected in November, but for now this seems like a good truce!

REVOLVER

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

George Orwell.

besides…

Herman Cain can become the Peoples President. Unlike Obama, Cain’s grassroots support is real not manufactured.

THE PEOPLES PRESIDENT 2012

Herman Cain crushed the so-called first tier candidates Mitt Romney (aka mittens) and Rick Perry in yesterday’s Florida straw poll. Cain’s win is important enough to bring international interest, with the International Business Times calling it a new race.

Surprise, surprise. surprise, (not!) the Sunday talk shows are chattering about Cain defeating Romney and Perry in the Florida straw poll.

What is left unsaid is that the real surprise to them is that the voters are not following the MSM & GOP elites narrative on who is likely to run against the fraud Obama.

Their narrative has no room for Herman Cain and so they barely/rarely cover him. Why bring attention to a man who can really turn this country around, right? And so they speak his name in whispers or not at all! All of that changed yesterday.

One of the lessons to be learned in the 2012 election is name recognition isn’t everything. It’s the message that counts! Simply put so even a Progressive “journalist” can understand, the truth will out!

What the GOP elites and the MSM fail to realize, is that they have made themselves increasingly irrelevant to the voters of America. They are as tone deaf to the voters as Obama is to capitalism.

A Cain victory over Obama is payback by the Birthers and independents for the GOP’s failure to tell the truth about Obama’s ineligibility. It is payback for knowingly leading the nation astray. Obama’s a fake and everyone knows it, with the possible exception of the most rabid Obots.

Even worse than Obama’s fraudulent presidency (Born a Brit, not Legit) has been his clear inability to perform the tasks at hand. BHO likes the pomp and circumstance. but the work needed to truly be the POTUS. God, he is such a waste, such an empty suit!

Unlike Romney (picked by Rove) and Perry (said to be NWO), Cain is not a  bought man, and that boys ‘n girls is like a breath of fresh air.  Unlike Obama, Cain thankfully is not a Progressive!

Over at American Thinker the question was posed, “Is the Cain win an anyone but Romney vote?”  I think not. Cain is the real deal, and he’s Obama’s worst nightmare!

OBAMA BORN A BRIT NOT LEGIT
Let's be clear. The eligibility requirement for POTUS is natural born citizen, not naturalized citizen, not native born citizen, not citizen of the United States.
Each type of citizenship has a legal definition and is very specific despite the attempts by Team Obama, the co-conspirators in the judiciary, Congress, and the MSM to conflate the terms and bastardize the Presidency.
