Hillary and Me

Last week MSNBC took Free Republic, a conservative website,  to task for threaded comments made about the Obamas’.   Since I have occasionally posted over at Free Republic and I know how the site runs and the bloggers who post there, something didn’t feel right about the episode.  It looked to me like there was a lurker up there digging for dirt.

Turns out I was right, according to Gateway Pundit . . .

Daily Kos Far Left Nutjob Caught In Blogging Scandal

A Vancouver reporter accused Free Republic of allowing racist comments this weekend.
But, oddly enough, this same Vancouver Sun reporter, Chris Parry, has a very controversial background. He has advocated on Daily Kos for liberals to post hate speech on conservative blogs and blame it on conservatives.

What a strange coincidence?

The bogus comments over at Free Republic were mild, mild in comparison to this trash that is up on “revered” liberal websites like Wonkette, where Palin hatred is spewed out in copious volumes.

It really is hard to understand why some adults feel the need to make fun of Trig Palin, a one-year old who has Down Syndrome. Politics alone cannot explain it. If you don’t like Sarah Palin, fine, but why go after Trig?

All the attacks on Trig are Sarah’s fault, according to the Wonkette post, since Sarah had the audacity to bring Trig on stage at the Republican National Convention (where the original photo in question was taken), which Wonkette calls using Trig as a “cheap political prop.” I guess that makes the Obama kids fair game according to Wonkette since they were brought on stage at the Democratic National Convention.

The controversy regarding the Photoshop of Trig by Alaskan blogger Linda Biegel is only the tip of the iceberg. Ever since Sarah’s nomination, Trig has been a target. Last fall, the popular DC-based “gossip” website Wonkette joked how Trig must have wished he’d been aborted. Now Wonkette has taken Biegel’s Photoshop antics as an excuse to go after Trig anew.

In a recent post, Wonkette promoted and joked about even cruder Photoshops of Trig at the Something Awful web forum, where people can post anonymously (examples below). Wonkette even included one of these photoshops in its post (above right) while mocking Trig as the “New Jesus,” “Holy Infant” and “Sacred One.”

Some of the others are so vile and depraved I refused to post them here.  It is hard to comprehend this kind of sick hatred. And before anyone wants to defend these images as “humor” don’t.  There is nothing humorous about this.  This is cowardly.

Which brings me to MSNBC.

Seems the network is unable to display anything but selective outrage.  Olbermann can get worked up over planted racist comments about the Obamas over at Free Republic but not a word about this kind political pornography.  Tell me sir, where is your outrage over this?

Years ago during the McCarthy hearings this famous question was asked of Senator McCarthy … “Have you no sense of decency?”

I couldn’t have put it any better!

Well, well, well … Time Magazine has decided to put Sarah Palin on the cover. Hmmm … isn’t timing everything in life?

For the record, and in case anyone is counting, Obama’s mug was on Time’s cover 14 times in ’08.  Suddenly, we see Sarah.  Is it possible Palin’s resignation as Governor of Alaska is the reason for the cover or is it possible that Obama’s plummeting numbers have something to do with it?

Obama is below 50% in Ohio, the economy … the Obama economy is in the tank, unemployment in the double digits … Huff Po wants to disengage as White House cheerleader.  Prepare to come about … hard alee …. jibe ho!

Everyone sing, “Oh, the times they are a changing!”

“Just words?”, Obama has intoned. Just words? I think not.

The unending and unprecedented attacks against female candidates that have the temerity to run against the “Annointed One” in this election year have gone from bad to so far over the line that Obama needs to address this overt violence against Sarah Palin. NOW!

This is what Obama’s silence about the vicious attacks against Sarah Palin (and Hillary before) has wrought! This video is pornographic violence and should make you ill.

The faux feminists are just as complicit with their constant attacks against Palin. I call it “Palin Envy” because Sarah Palin is everything many of these faux feminists are not . . . not the least of which is being happy within her own skin, happy with the choices she has made.

Of course, let us not forget that Palin is a Republican and pro-life, and that is what really makes her detestable to these horrid, dried up old feminists. That’s why Sandra Bernhard can call for Palin to be gang raped by 4 of Berndard’s black brothers. Vile!

Obama either denounces this overt act of video pornographic violence, or he doesn’t deserve to be president.

The actions of the man in this video need to be soundly condemned as do the Obamabots that wear Sarah Palin cunt tees. The tees and the video are symptomatic of the kind of “fascist/sexist” behavior exhibited by the Obama supporters who feel this is acceptable and the rules of civil behavior do not apply to them. Well, the rules about what constitutes acceptable behavior do apply to them!

You sir, Senator Obama, have to take responsibility for the rampant sexist behavior that is polluting the country because of your refusal to address so obvious an issue that affects over 50% of the country. Your deafening silence gives tacit approval to behavior that should rightly be condemned. You sir, set the tone of your campaign. You alone! If you can bring 100,000 people out to hear you speak, you can help turn this torrent of violent sexist behavior off!

You gave a speech about racism in this country. Now you need to step up to the plate and give a speech about sexism and violence against women. Forget yourself and your campaign for just once this election cycle!

Think about your daughters and all the girls and women across this country who will suffer if you remain silent! Violence against one women is violence against all women . . . even if you don’t agree with their political views. Be the kind of man your mother would be proud of.
