AL GORE 2

Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth, He’s a Jerk!

One day climate change skeptics will be seen in the same negative light as racists, or so says former Vice President Al Gore, flame thrower and global warming terrorist.

I can’t believe I once voted for this guy, defended him on occasion when I thought the MSM had unfairly characterized some of his comments about his having invented the Internet. You’ll have to forgive me, this was at a time when I thought the MSM actually reported the news!

sodahead.com

The truth is when Gore lost to Bush 43, regardless of the debacle in Florida, Gore couldn’t carry his own state, Tennessee. Seems to me the voters in Tennessee were ahead of the curve on this one!

Think about that for a moment.  Can you imagine Reagan winning the White House without California, or Bush without Texas, or Carter winning without Georgia? Of course not!

I know I’m not the only one who thinks Gore is a little creepy. Remember that kkkkissss he laid on Tipper the night he won the Democratic nomination for Prez? Geez, getta room will ya!

CNN’s Jack Cafferty, a man I almost never agree with, once called Gore a pompous ass.

This last time around when he started calling “global warming deniers” racists was just too much for me!

The truth is global warming is scripted terrorism, an excuse for Gore and his Progressive pals in the MSM,  in Congress and the White House to push forward their phony green agenda.

Now should anyone think this writer must be one of those “Conservative naysayers” who have never seen an environmental problem any time or anywhere, you can pack it up Bub!

I am a practical environmentalist who writes, Say No to Plastics, and who puts her money where her mouth is. Does the world have serious environmental problems? Yes, but global warming isn’t one of them.

The lack of fresh clean water is a very serious problem, one that will be a cause of water wars in the future as is our insane use of single use and convenience plastics.

There is so much plastic in our oceans and streams that will not biodegrade in the form of plastic bags, bottles, and other trash that it kills hundreds of thousands of birds, fish, and mammals yearly. Plastic trash has started to seep into the food chain as entire species are being decimated thoughtlessly. Our plastic trash is helping to destroy some of the world’s ocean ecosystems!

All of which leads us back to Al Gore and his latest hysterical rant on global warming. For those who missed Gore’s offensive conflation of global warming deniers with racists, here it is.

CHINESE IMPERIALISM & AFRICA…WHY WE SHOULD CARE

A part of me wants to weep for Africa, a Continent that holds so much and which has been repeatedly raped of its people and resources throughout most of history.

Many times the travesties have been facilitated by waring factions within Africa itself. One need only look at a list of African leaders (after the European countries left) in the 20th and 21st centuries to see a who’s who’s of dictators and strong men of infamy.

We hear about the Somalian pirates but nothing about how European countries are dumping nuclear waste into Somalian waters or illegally over fishing and depleting their coastal waters and starving the populace because of these practices.

It has been recently reported that The son of Equatorial Guinea’s dictator of 30 years commissioned plans to build a super yacht costing $380 million, nearly three times what the country spends on health and education each year. The reports are

We have an impostor President, a Constitutional fraud, who has taken steps to weaken destroy our economy, weaken our military effectiveness abroad, weaken our space program, weaken our resolve in American exceptionalism.

While the Communist/Socialist/Progressives continue to beat the drum of American/European Imperialism barely a whisper has been spoken about Chinese Imperialism today in Africa by the MSM. This is dangerous. China holds much of our debt and China wants to surpass the United States on every front economic and militarily.

With all of this a a back drop we have Imperial China, whose growth is projected to be at 7% versus our negligible growth (by comparison) buying up companies in the U.S. and around the globe that will help support their military and economic expansionism. Whether it’s oil, raw materials, precious metals and minerals China’s avarice is massive indeed. All of this comes with a price, a price being paid by Africans today and quite possibly the United States tomorrow.

The following is from Peter Hitchens writing about how China has created a new slave empire in Africa:

It is my view…that China’s cynical new version of imperialism in Africa is a wicked enterprise.

China offers both rulers and the ruled in Africa the simple, squalid advantages of shameless exploitation.

For the governments, there are gargantuan loans, promises of new roads, railways, hospitals and schools – in return for giving Peking a free and tax-free run at Africa’s rich resources of oil, minerals and metals.

For the people, there are these wretched leavings, which, miserable as they are, must be better than the near-starvation they otherwise face.

Persuasive academics advised me before I set off on this journey that China’s scramble for Africa had much to be said for it. They pointed out China needs African markets for its goods, and has an interest in real economic advance in that broken continent.

For once, they argued, a foreign intervention in Africa might work precisely because it is so cynical and self-interested. They said Western aid, with all its conditions, did little to create real advances in Africa, laughing as they declared: ‘The only country that ever got rich through donations is the Vatican.’

Then there’s this from China eyes Africa.

At the start of the meeting, Beijing unveiled a glittering trade and aid plan designed to cement its “strategic partnership” with Africa. The key items in the package were raising the volume of trade from $40 billion in 2005 to $100 billion by 2010; doubling of 2006 assistance by 2009; provision of $3 billion worth of preferential loans and $2 billion worth of export credits; setting up a ChinaAfrica Development Fund that would be capitalized to the tune of $5 billion to support Chinese companies investing in Africa; and cancellation of all interest-free government loans owed to China by the heavily indebted and poorest African countries that matured at the end of 2005.

If not yet the biggest external player in Africa, China is certainly the most dynamic. It now accounts for 60 percent of oil exports from Sudan and 35 percent of those from Angola. Chinese firms mine copper in Zambia and Congo-Brazzaville, cobalt in the Congo, gold in South Africa and uranium in Zimbabwe.

Its (China’s) ecological footprint is massive, says Michelle ChanFishel of Friends of the Earth, consuming 46 percent of Gabon’s forest exports, 60 percent of timber exported from Equatorial Guinea and 11 percent of timber exports from Cameroon.

OBAMA … JAW-DROPPING INCOMPETENCE ON A MASSIVE SCALE

When you see the wreckage that is Washington, the lack of respect for individuals, the rejection of constitutional principles that have produced unparalleled freedom and prosperity — “he’s a Harvard man” takes on new meaning.

The above quote is from a must read essay in the American Thinker by Stuart Schwartz.  It triggered the following.

The question is how much more damage will be done by Obama & friends to the American people, its economy, and the Constitution before people who really know the truth about Obama will finally speak up and stop the madness?

At what point will enough be enough?  Really … aren’t we already there? Yesterday we saw:

  • New home sales sank 34% in May, to the lowest point since 1963!
  • Our Constitutionally ineligible President, a man whose actions have no authority under the law, canned one this country’s great general’s because he had bruised feelings.
  • 65,000 gallons of oil a day continue to leak into the Gulf with no end in sight!
  • The snake Ken Salazar,  despite a court ruling that the Obama’s ban on off shore drilling be stopped, was capricious and ill conceived, thumped his chest and proclaimed he would fight the decision and issue and new ban on drilling and appease the radical left!
  • The worst ecological disaster continued into day 65, while skimmers were turned away, as was help from other nations, as the Jones Act stayed intact, as it became clear Obama doesn’t give a damn about cleaning the Gulf Coast, or creating jobs, or the economic devastation his policies are knowingly bringing.  His policies are intentional! He doesn’t give a damn!  Got It?
  • New polls show that 62% of the American people think we are on the wrong track, 54% no longer trust him!
  • Nancy Pelosi told her pals in Congress to get ready for the Republican tsunami coming in November … and beware the subpoena power of the new GOP majority.  Think anyone will question why she thought it was appropriate to spend $32,000.00 on flowers for a Jack Kemp’s funeral or any of the other excesses she has indulged herself and her family?
  • While the DOJ is intent on suing Arizona over its new legislation, the 1,200 additional troops Obama promised Arizona’s Governor last month still had not arrived!
  • The federal debt continued its insane race to $14 trillion dollars, while Obama chastised Europe for finally reigning in its spending & unemployment remained as high as 17% in parts of the country!

Again from the Schwartz’ essay:

[…] the answers the smart people from the great universities offer are strikingly similar to the systems and solutions underlying nearly every failure in every sphere of human endeavor. Ivy League-educated administration officials offer us warmed-over Chinese and Soviet communism, which resulted in the murder of more than 100 million. They are pushing us into the centralized health care model drawn from some of the world’s worst medical care. And their economic prescriptions have underlined some of the most soul-numbing poverty the world has seen.

The truth is, the “elites” from Haarvard, Yale, et al are the most superficial of persons, legends in their minds, confidently secure that they can tell us how to run our lives better than we who live them.

They have no idea of the concept of making due, of living within one’s means, of creating something besides a “government job”. These are people that if suddenly striped of the privileged space they now occupy in society, would have absolutely no idea how to survive like the “little people” do!

These are people who have never had a genuine thought except perhaps while sitting on the john (maybe I should have used loo or WC, it is sooo continental, don’t ya know), expressed a genuine emotion, can conceive of living an honest life.

Let me end with a final thought, from Schwartz:

Maybe it is time for the president and his Ivy League transformers to understand what Sigmund Freud, who did not attend Harvard, understood so long ago:

Sometimes a fart is just a fart.

I would hasten to add, sometimes a fraud is just a fraud!

FANNIE MAE TO CASH IN ON THE CAP ‘N TRADE HOAX … PATENT HOLDERS? WHY?

Well, well, well, those fine folks at Fannie Mae,the same ones who brought on the mortgage crisis and devastation to home owners across America hold a patent on Cap ‘n Trade. Say what???

Wait, before I go any further, don’t know what Cap’nTrade is even though we keep hearing about it ad naseum?

OK, here’s what it is. Those fine folks running around with their hair on fire, the ones that are arrogant enough to think that they can control the world’s climate irrespective the the sun, the tilt of earth’s axis, the flow of the oceans, and a multitude of other factors have devised a plan whereby they will help us all control the amount of carbon each one of us emits through our travel, manufacture of goods, energy use, etc. No word yet on whether a system is being worked on that will control the amount of carbon dioxide we emit every time we breathe!

Here’s how the goofy plan works.

  • Companies will be limited to the number of tons of emissions of carbon they can emit… hereinafter known as the Carbon Emitters… they will also need a permit from the government to emit these carbon gasses.
  • Some companies will never reach the mythical carbon limit and therefore will have carbon credits to sell to the Carbon Emitters.
  • The cost of buying and selling these credits would be determined by the marketplace which really means the government again, since this Administration is against private enterprise and has already shown it wants to control everything!

Now boys and girls the real motive behind Cap ‘n Trade… the Profit Motive according to Cap & Trade 101. Estimates by the Congressional Budget Office project that an economy-wide cap-and-trade program would generate at least $50 billion per year, but could reach up to $300 billion! Pretty sweet way of taking even more money out of the pockets  of hard working small business owners and Americans.

Wait, it gets even better. We are already holding auctions for these carbon credits. These actions are being managed by companies with names like the Social Carbon Company. Can you spell Monopoly Money? No, how ’bout this. In 2009, Green News announced that $117 million was netted in a carbon auction. That’s better than chum change.

All of which brings us back to Fannie Mae and its ownership of a patent. It seems they now have a vested interest in carbon exchange on the residential level. This from a Conservative Mom:

The crooks at Fannie Mae have devised a system for trading residential carbon credits (that would be carbon credits for your PERSONAL HOME) that they want to patent. This gives them a vested interest in making sure that Cap-and-Trade legislation passes. The Nanny State elites don’t just want to control your personal carbon footprint. They want to profit from tyrannizing you!

Oh, BTW, did I mention that the folks at Fannie Mae have been working on the carbon patent since 2005!?! Gee, and I thought their mandate revolved around affordable housing and the like.

Representatives Chaffetz (R-UT), and Rep. Issa (R-CA) are seeking answers to basic questions about this scheme, like why were they even working this to begin with?

Tomorrow…who are the recipients of the patent?

MSM NEWS BLACKOUT! WAS THE DEEPWATER RIG THAT EXPLODED AN ACT OF TERRORISM?

Oleander Benton, 52, recalled her tale escaping the Deepwater Horizon platform to a lifeboat - one of 115 people to safely escape the platform after the explosion a week ago. Eleven others are missing and presumed dead.

Anyone who visits here on a regular basis knows how I hate coincidence.

Experience has demonstrated over and over again, if it doesn’t look, feel, or smell right chances are we’re not looking at a coincidence. BTW, coincidence is defined as a striking occurrence of two or more events at one time apparently by mere chance.

If you and I bump into one another at a restaurant or in the airport that’s mere chance.  When our faux President tells the world we are going to allow new offshore drilling off the east coast and within weeks one of the largest oil platforms in the world blows up, on Earth Day, that isn’t chance.

In case anyone has been looking, why hasn’t the MSM tried to interview a single survivor, or attempted to report on the possible causes of the disaster?   Dead silence except for stories on the oil spreading ever closer to the coastlines of multiple states.

All I’m doing this morning is asking questions, since we already know the MSM won’t.  AND, if the first source quoted below is to believed, there is a purposeful media blackout on any investigation that would point to another act of terror on this country that Team Obama could not ward off.

But first, this conversation is very interesting.

This first report is from outside the U.S.from the EU Times on line:

A grim report circulating in the Kremlin today written by Russia’s Northern Fleet is reporting that the United States has ordered a complete media blackout over North Korea’s torpedoing of the giant Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by the World’s largest offshore drilling contractor Transocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., that has caused great loss of life, untold billions in economic damage to the South Korean economy, and an environmental catastrophe to the United States.

Most important to understand about this latest attack by North Korea against its South Korean enemy is that under the existing “laws of war” it was a permissible action as they remain in a state of war against each other due to South Korea’s refusal to sign the 1953 Armistice ending the Korean War.

To the attack itself, these reports continue, the North Korean “cargo vessel” Dai Hong Dan believed to be staffed by 17th Sniper Corps “suicide” troops left Cuba’s Empresa Terminales Mambisas de La Habana (Port of Havana) on April 18th whereupon it “severely deviated” from its intended course for Venezuela’s Puerto Cabello bringing it to within 209 kilometers (130 miles) of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform which was located 80 kilometers (50 miles) off the coast of the US State of Louisiana where it launched an SSC Sang-o Class Mini Submarine (Yugo class) estimated to have an operational range of 321 kilometers (200 miles).

On the night of April 20th the North Korean Mini Submarine manned by these “suicidal” 17th Sniper Corps soldiers attacked the Deepwater Horizon with what are believed to be 2 incendiary torpedoes causing a massive explosion and resulting in 11 workers on this giant oil rig being killed outright.  Barely 48 hours later, on April 22nd , this North Korean Mini Submarine committed its final atrocity by exploding itself directly beneath the Deepwater Horizon causing this $1 Billion oil rig to sink beneath the seas and marking 2010’s celebration of Earth Day with one of the largest environmental catastrophes our World has ever seen.

And this from the Dakota Voice:

Torpedoes would make sense for the results we see. The platform exploded, despite redundant safety features; plus, something apparently also happened on the Gulf floor at the opening of the well to prevent engineers from being able to stop the flow of oil from it. Two torpedoes launched from a submarine could cause those things to happen.

There are a number of international “suspects” who might want to do something like this. They range from Muslim terrorists to the Red Chinese, Venezuela and beyond. Remember that China and Russia are drilling out there, as well, and they would benefit from America cutting back on our own drilling.

THE GREAT GLOBAL WARMING HOAX

Want to make a conservative, independent, libertarian, or Tea Party member mad?  Lie to them.  Want to make a “progressive”, Obamabot, or liberal mad?  Tell them the truth!

Gotta say, I was pulled into the global warming scam too.  I believed the junk science that Al Gore and his slew of acolytes were spewing out and feeding us.  Did I have my doubts and hesitations?  Yes, on occasion I did (remember Time Magazine told us we were entering a new Ice Age in 1974), but now that we know that global warming data has been cooked, I’m mad.  As I sit here in the Deep South where the temperature was 15 degrees when I awoke this morning, I’m not a happy camper.I’m cold and I’m pissed.

As I’ve begun my own investigations into the subject, it is clear, that the “evidence” was never overwhelming.  Hey, but what a great way to raise donations, sell books, and movies etc.  Seems the earth’s temperatures have actually been cooling for the last ten years, but the MSM and MSNBC (in particular & where green is Universal) never reported that did they?

Climate and climate changes are much more complicated than releasing too much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.  Our temperatures are impacted by forces that are greater than man’s impact on the environment.  Those factors include the earth’s tilt and axis just for starters.  FYI, here’s a little known fact that can be easily checked.  The great Sahara desert turns green about 20,000 years.  Want to read more about this here and here.

In the meantime, thanks to Frozengore.com for their work. (As an aside, can you believe I actually voted for this nimrod?)

Take a look at the Climate Change Timeline and view the number of times we’ve been told the climate is getting warmer … no, make that cooler … no, make that warmer! Oh, hell!

For at least 114 years, climate “scientists” have been claiming that the climate was going to kill us…but they have kept switching whether it was a coming ice age, or global warming.

And like most people we’d like to see the world a better place, which in this context translates into our working to reduce the risk of potentially disastrous climate change. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have. EXPORTING GREEN JOBS TO CHINA ON OUR TAX DOLLARS … DAILY KOS WRONG ON JUST ‘BOUT EVERYTHING FINALLY GETS SOMETHING RIGHT!

(H/T DAILY KOS! WHO KNEW???)

See, I was over at the ‘ultra left into the stratosphere Daily Kos” about to comment on why their analysis on why the Dems lost so badly in the November mid-term elections  was sooo wrong, when I found this.  Hard to believe, but even the NY Times is right on this issue.  Do you think hell is freezing over?

Let me just say, if this doesn’t piss you off, nothing will!  Read on and get ready to vote  all the bums out that voted for the stimulus … Democrat or Republican … get ‘em out and quickly before they can do any more damage to our economy!

2000 More Green Jobs Sent to China On Our Stimulus Dollar

by Muskegon Critic

Wed Nov 04, 2009 at 04:50:32 PM PST

I guarantee, if green jobs keep flying out the door, America’s support for alternative energy is going to collapse.

I seem to remember some very expensive, and possibly not expensive enough, Stimulus Package that was meant to create jobs. And not just any jobs. Oh no. Green jobs. Sustainable jobs.

And as it turns out, it’s working!

The stimulus package is creating jobs in the green manufacturing sector.

Just, not here.

A week ago I was on the warpath about a locally incubated company that used State and Federal research grants and used Muskegon’s multi-million dollar state of the art research and tech incubator facilities to develop their wind generator. Then they turned around and took 2.7 million dollars from Canada as a “grant” to move their factory, and 200 jobs, and their research and development arm, to Windsor, Canada.

Then RLMillersent me an article from the New York Times that made my eyeballs explode…  READ ON

WHAT IF SARAH PALIN WERE GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA?

Does anyone think if Sarah Palin were Governor of California that the state would be facing sure bankruptcy?  I think not.  Why?  Because Palin is practical, that’s why.

California has the worst bond rating in the country and it appears that the Fed (to its credit) is not going to bail the state out. Bravo! That means taxpayers in states across the country, living in states that run efficiently, aren’t going to bail the bums out; and why should we.  California voters kicked Gray Davis out and replaced him with the Governator Schwarzenegger . . . showing once and for all that things really can go from bad to worse.  Don’t ask states that know how to make tough choices to bail states that don’t.

The real kicker in all of this is that California has the tools at hand to bail itself out, but not the political will.  California has a $15.4 billion dollar shortfall and could benefit with revenues starting at $100 million from the off shore drilling.  Things are so bad in Cal- e-fornia that Governor Schwarzenegger has just proposed new drilling  and allowing one lease.   Believe this . . opening one lease is controversial!

As detailed in California’s Capital by Greg Lucus:

[…]

Awarding the (one) lease would nullify a January ruling by the three-person State Lands Commission, which regulates drilling in the first three miles off the California coast.

The commission rejected the lease sought by the Plains Exploration and Production Company to drill in Tranquillon Ridge, offshore from Vandenberg Air Force Base near Lompoc on a 2 to 1 vote, despite support by environmental groups.

“I am concerned about setting a precedent in approving California’s first offshore oil lease in 40 years,” said State Controller John Chiang in defending his “no” vote on the commission, which has not approved an offshore oil lease since the 1969 Santa Barbara oil spill.

The only “aye” vote came from Schwarzenegger’s representative on the commission.

The GOP governor reiterated his long-standing opposition to offshore drilling in June 2008, breaking with then-President Bush and U.S. Senator John McCain, who called for lifting the ban.

“California’s coastline is an international treasure,” Schwarzenegger said at the time. “I do not support lifting this moratorium on new drilling off our coast.”

The state could be benefiting from the jobs, revenue, and royalties from opening up these off shore leases.  The country could be benefiting from increased domestic oil production and less reliance on imported oil.   But no, California would rather release prisoners, furlough teachers, cut budgets for police and fire departments.

Make no mistake about this.  I care about the air we breathe and the water drink, etc.; but I am a pragmatic environmentalist not an esoteric one.  I write another blog called Say No to Plastic that is addressing the enormous impact that our unnecessary use of plastic is causing in our oceans and on a world wide level.  We are talking about a huge environmental disaster of our making.   I invite you to go to the site and look at the issues and support our efforts.

While you are there, review the page that talks about working with business.  This approach separates us from every other environmental group in the country. Here’s the reason why.  Environmental groups that seek to advance their agenda usually forget there is a financial component/solution that has to be looked at.  Actions have the net effect of job loss for someone in the community where you live will face mighty opposition. If groups refuse to address the economic impact of their efforts or they are not addressing collaborative ways to solve the issues, they are skirting success!

All of which brings us back to Sarah Palin, the governor of state that is rich in oil reserves, a governor that was able to refund taxpayers with check for $1,200.00 each.  Her policies have and improved the lives of  Alaska’s citizens by allowing drilling. It is often overlooked, but Sarah is a small business owner who understands what it means to make payroll, and suffer the consequences of a poorly managed company.

What this country needs is more small business owners in politics, people with common sense that know you can’t spend a country out a bad economy by adding more debt.  Here’s something else the country needs . . . the recognition that few things in live are either black or white . . . that balance is what we should be striving for in all things political.
