China has dropped 97% of its holdings in U.S. Treasury bills, ” decreasing its ownership of the short-term U.S. government securities from a peak of $210.4 billion in May 2009 to $5.69 billion in March 2011, the most recent month reported by the U.S. Treasury ” according to CNS News.
This is a shocker, but not surprising considering today’s job numbers and the direction the economy has been going since Team Obama took over. The U.S. economy is literally in shambles, a fact that hasn’t gone unnoticed by China.
Obamanomics has brought us unsustainable debt, a Depression (yes, that is the operative word) with 14 million unemployed. China is flexing its economic muscle. Beijing has lost confidence in American economic policy along with 65% of this country’s citizens.
China’s concerns with our economy began 18 months ago. The following is from an article written in February 2010 in guardian.co.uk.
US treasury figures for the period ending in December 2009 show that, following the sale, China is no longer the largest overseas holder of US treasury bonds. Beijing ended the year sitting on $755.4bn worth of US government debt, compared to Japan‘s $768.8bn.
Since the sub-prime crisis that began on Main Street USA grew to engulf the global economy, China’s leaders have repeatedly expressed concerns about US policy. December’s $34bn sell-off made only a tiny dent in Beijing’s total holdings of US assets, which amount to well over $1tn when stakes in American companies, as well as treasury bills, are taken into account.
But the news intensified concerns about China’s appetite for bankrolling ever-widening American deficits. Premier Wen Jiabao told reporters last year: “We have made a huge amount of loans to the United States.Of course we are concerned about the safety of our assets.”

America must sell an unprecedented volume of treasuries in the coming years to finance its record deficit, and pay the cost of bailing out Wall Street and kick-starting the economy with a $900bn stimulus package. Any evidence that foreign investors are beginning to doubt Obama’s promises to bring the public finances under control will spread alarm in Washington.
Economists and Obama’s Progressive team of dreamers, ideologues, and academics have been wrong about the economy from day one, to which I would say,, “had enough yet?” The May jobless rate rose to 9.1 %. I wonder, should we call Obamanomics a man-caused disaster?

pResident Obama and his team are strong on rhetoric (big hats & no cattle) and strong on job destruction! All these academics, people almost to the last one who have never created a real job are shocked, shocked I say that the economy isn’t recovering! We are faced with record breaking deficits, debt, and spending and this group is shocked! In what parallel universe do they reside? No, it’s the ideological blinders they wear that keeps them from seeing reality!
People are losing ground.
Food and gasoline prices are up. Wages are either down or stagnant. Only 54,000 jobs were created in May, not the 150,000 jobs that were projected; no, make that hoped for! American companies are firing people. In order to recover, we need to be creating 250,000 to 300,000 jobs EVERY month make a dent in the pool of 14 million unemployed. BTW, the Labor Department is also reporting that the atrocious weather we experienced had nothing to do with the lack of jobs being created.
The truth is companies large and small do not want to hire because they have no confidence in Obama and his team of economic hacks! Jobs are being eliminated in companies both large and small. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that, “The jobless rate, which is obtained from a separate household survey, unexpectedly rose to 9.1%.” The job rate unexpectedly rose, really? No, really?
Under Obama’s watch jobs have been destroyed in the Gulf and in the San Joaquin Valley (40% unemployment) with the help of the EPA and with outrageous over regulation. Virtually every job sector has shrunk and declined under Obama; hospitality. manufacturing, housing and home pricing, retail all down. But on the bright side, foreclosures and abandoned houses are up.
OBAMANOMICS... ENOUGH SAID
Here’s a shock, government jobs were also down in May. In fact, there are more government jobs that will be lost in the coming months because local and state governments, faced with their economic reality, will be forced to lay off workers in order to meet their state mandated balanced budgets!
One story the MSM isn’t reporting is the job growth in Texas for the last 5 years.
Texas created more jobs than the other 49 states combined! If you want a job move to Texas. Banks and businesses are booming. In 2010 while the rest of the country suffered,
the Dallas Federal Reserve noted this week that Texas exports rose 20.3% in the second half of 2009 and 7.6% in February 2010, Texas home sales are again on the rise, Texas retail sales have grown for eight straight months, and March job growth in Texas was twice the national rate (while the foreclosure rate in Texas is half the national pace.)
And why aren’t we hearing this story. The answer is simple, Texas economic policies are diametrically opposed to Obamanomics. Texas has a business friendly environment with lower taxes and intelligent business regulation.
HAD ENOUGH YET? HOW MUCH DESTRUCTION MUST WE ENDURE BEFORE THE FRAUD IN THE WHITE HOUSE IS EXPOSED?
The list of waivers for Obamacare continues to grow. It is now so lengthy, (over 1,300 and counting), that the only question to ask is why are the courts taking their time on this one? Obamacare is unconstitutional.

The majority of voters want it repealed, according to the latest Rasmussen poll. In fact, at no time has this bill ever had the support of the majority of Americans.
Initially waivers were going to unions, big corporations, and financial institutions. Now, according the the Daily Caller, it pays to live in Nancy Pelosi’s district if you want a Obamacare waiver where 20 % of the latest waivers were issued nationwide!
Of the 204 new Obamacare waivers Obama’s administration approved in April, 38 are for fancy eateries, hip nightclubs and decadent hotels in House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s Northern California district.
The major cause of the US trade deficit with China is “globalism” or the practice, enforced by Wall Street and Wal-Mart, of US corporations offshoring their production for US markets to China (and around the world) in order to improve the bottom line by lowering labor costs.

A part of me wants to weep for Africa, a Continent that holds so much and which has been repeatedly raped of its people and resources throughout most of history.
Many times the travesties have been facilitated by waring factions within Africa itself. One need only look at a list of African leaders (after the European countries left) in the 20th and 21st centuries to see a who’s who’s of dictators and strong men of infamy.
We hear about the Somalian pirates but nothing about how European countries are dumping nuclear waste into Somalian waters or illegally over fishing and depleting their coastal waters and starving the populace because of these practices.

This is dangerous. China holds much of our debt and China wants to surpass the United States on every front economic and militarily.
With all of this a a back drop we have Imperial China, whose growth is projected to be at 7% versus our negligible growth (by comparison) buying up companies in the U.S. and around the globe that will help support their military and economic expansionism. All of this comes with a price, a price being paid by Africans today and quite possibly the United States tomorrow.

It is my view…that China’s cynical new version of imperialism in Africa is a wicked enterprise.
China offers both rulers and the ruled in Africa the simple, squalid advantages of shameless exploitation.
For the governments, there are gargantuan loans, promises of new roads, railways, hospitals and schools – in return for giving Peking a free and tax-free run at Africa’s rich resources of oil, minerals and metals.
For the people, there are these wretched leavings, which, miserable as they are, must be better than the near-starvation they otherwise face.
Persuasive academics advised me before I set off on this journey that China’s scramble for Africa had much to be said for it. They pointed out China needs African markets for its goods, and has an interest in real economic advance in that broken continent.
For once, they argued, a foreign intervention in Africa might work precisely because it is so cynical and self-interested. They said Western aid, with all its conditions, did little to create real advances in Africa, laughing as they declared: ‘The only country that ever got rich through donations is the Vatican.’
Then there’s this from China eyes Africa.
At the start of the meeting, Beijing unveiled a glittering trade and aid plan designed to cement its “strategic partnership” with Africa. The key items in the package were raising the volume of trade from $40 billion in 2005 to $100 billion by 2010; doubling of 2006 assistance by 2009; provision of $3 billion worth of preferential loans and $2 billion worth of export credits; setting up a ChinaAfrica Development Fund that would be capitalized to the tune of $5 billion to support Chinese companies investing in Africa; and cancellation of all interest-free government loans owed to China by the heavily indebted and poorest African countries that matured at the end of 2005.
If not yet the biggest external player in Africa, China is certainly the most dynamic. It now accounts for 60 percent of oil exports from Sudan and 35 percent of those from Angola. Chinese firms mine copper in Zambia and Congo-Brazzaville, cobalt in the Congo, gold in South Africa and uranium in Zimbabwe.
Its (China’s) ecological footprint is massive, says Michelle ChanFishel of Friends of the Earth, consuming 46 percent of Gabon’s forest exports, 60 percent of timber exported from Equatorial Guinea and 11 percent of timber exports from Cameroon.
Those on Wall Street, however, are largely unsympathetic, insistingthat possible errors in the foreclosure process are beside the point, that the process begins only when a borrower starts missing mortgage payments … from Wall Street Blames Homeowners
What a crock of manure that statement is. Banks initiate foreclosures even when homeowners are current. The banks are evicting homeowners despite flawed documentation, and thatis not beside the point!
The MSM is finally covering robo closers and law firms whose business is the churning of paperwork forcing homes into foreclosure without the proper review of paperwork. Banks are lying about their procedures and mistakes.
If you think fraudulent or phony bank foreclosures are something new, you’d be wrong. This has been going on for years.What is new is that the public along with many public officials are waking up to the fact that the banks have been deceitful and dishonest about the foreclosure process and have been screwing homeowners for years.
I know, because Chase tried foreclosing on me 9 years ago. It was an outrageous act on the part of Chase. Had it not been for a courageous, aggressive attorney, Tom Stubbs, who knew how the bank’s foreclosure process operated I would have lost my home.
This is a synopsis of what happened.
I had refinanced my home with a local bank a few years prior. The local bank, in turn, sold the mortgage to an entity called Cenlar. I made my payments to Cenlar for two years when I received a notice that Chase would now be my mortgage company. In the interim I received written notices and voice mail messages left by Cenlar saying to continue paying as always, until the transition was complete in 90 days. Shortly thereafter Chase began sending me acceleration notices. Since I’d never been late paying my mortgage, I didn’t know what an acceleration notice was.
Acceleration notices or not, I was sure since I hadn’t even received my first statement from Chase(and I continued to pay Cenlar) that there had to be some kind of mix up and it would be easily resolved. WRONG!
The day I received the foreclosure notice I was stunned. I couldn’t believe it. How could I be in foreclosure if I’d made all my payments on time? I immediately called Chase and was told by their customer service department thatthey couldn’t talkto me since I was in foreclosure! Say What?I was told to call the law firm handling the matter.
I called the firm and told them I hadn’t missed a payment… therehad to be a mistake… I could prove this with copies of canceled checks. I faxed the information over to the voice (clearly unimpressed and disinterested) on the other end of the phone … sure once the canceled checks were received this would put an end to it. WRONG, again!
What made matters even worse is that in Georgia (unless the laws have changed), a homeowner only has 30 days to resolve the matter! Thirty days! What if I had been traveling when the notice arrived, or had been sick, or any number of other situations that could have chopped that 30 day time frame into impossible response time? Without the aid of my attorney my house would have been sold on the Court House steps to the highest bidder.
Here’s some of what I learned.
Chase didn’t have to prove I missed three payments and defaulted on the mortgage!Chase only had to say I defaulted! Imagine … no proof was required!
Once that foreclosure train started I couldn’t do a thing to change it myself. Having a lawyer was a necessity!
Chase didn’t care what the truth was and their law firm didn’t care what the truth was. All they wanted to do was to get the paperwork done!
In Georgia, if you miss even one payment a bank can send acceleration notices to foreclose.
Since it was assumed that I was a “deadbeat” I was treated disrespectfully by Chase and their partner’s in crime.
When everything was finally sorted out, it turned out I hadn’t missed a single payment. During the Cenlar/Chase transition I had made an extra payment! I was one payment ahead yet Chase was determined to foreclose with faulty paperwork!
No apology was ever rendered. Let me say again, this happened 9 years ago when we weren’t in the midst of a foreclosure crisis like we are today.
My favorite mortgage company, Chase, accidentally evicted here:

Let’s put everything back,” said Moser. Moser said it all started when she hit some tough times and called her mortgage holder, Chase Bank, to make a home loan modification. She said she was approved and sent Chase $4,000.But, she said, Chase never processed the paperwork, which caused a mistaken foreclosure in February, and last week’s eviction.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. When Jason Grodensky bought his modest Fort Lauderdale home last December, he paid cash. But seven months later, he was surprised to learn that Bank of America had foreclosed on the house, even though Grodensky did not have a mortgage.
Grodensky knew nothing about the foreclosure until July, when he learned that the title to his home had been transferred to a government-backed lender. “I feel like I’m hanging in the wind and I’m scared to death,” said Grodensky. “How did some attorney put through a foreclosure illegally?”
Bank of America has acknowledged the error and will correct it at its own expense, said spokeswoman Jumana Bauwens.
“The bank made a mistake,” De Leon said, between tears. According to De Leon, after Washington Mutual sold his mortgage to Chase Bank in 2008, his $35,000 loan turned into a $350,000 nightmare. “Chase started rejecting my $350/month payments, and demanded $2,000 per month,” explained De Leon.

Mercy Health Partners hopes to have a buyer by the end of the year.
Officials said there are numerous reasons for the sale. One big one is the heath care reform bill signed into law this year.
The potential sale includes Mercy Hospital in Scranton, Mercy Tyler Hospital in Tunkhannock and Mercy Special Care Hospital in Nanticoke.”
In the oft chance you missed it, 30 companies have sought exemptions from Obamacare and the exemptions have been granted! The waivers are being passed out like candy.
And in no surprise, teachers unions are asking for the exemptions after voicing support for this legislative monstrosity.
“Thirty companies and organizations, including McDonald’s (MCD) and Jack in the Box (JACK), won’t be required to raise the minimum annual benefit included in low-cost health plans, which are often used to cover part-time or low-wage employees.
The Department of Health and Human Services, which provided a list of exemptions, said it granted waivers in late September so workers with such plans wouldn’t lose coverage from employers who might choose instead to drop health insurance altogether.Without waivers, companies would have had to provide a minimum of $750,000 in coverage next year, increasing to $1.25 million in 2012, $2 million in 2013 and unlimited in 2014.”
I love Colbert. He’s a funny, smart, insightful comedian despite the fact that his politics go a little too far left for my tastes.

Comedian Stephen Colbert had barely seated himself at a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing this morning when US Representative John Conyers, Democrat of Michigan, asked him to leave. Conyers said the committee had not seen so many reporters at a hearing since presidential impeachment proceedings in the late 1990s, and he wanted Colbert to leave so that the committee could carry on with its work.
If this was an attempt to embarrass those who want the illegal immigration problem to be handled smartly and effectively, it backfired … BADLY! Y’all embarrassed yourselves.

The Obama administration, already underfire for unprecedented allegations of racial bias, faces a new bias claim from a most unlikely source: one of the administration’s own inspectors general.
Decisions on which car dealerships to close as part of the auto industry bailout — closures the Obama administration forced on General Motors and Chrysler — were based in part on race and gender, according to a report by Troubled Asset Relief Program Special Inspector General Neal M. Barofsky.
[D]ealerships were retained because they were recently appointed, were key wholesale parts dealers, or were minority- or woman-owned dealerships. [Emphasis added.]
Thus, to meet numbers forced on them by the Obama administration, General Motors and Chrysler were forced to shutter other, potentially more viable, dealerships. The livelihood of potentially tens of thousands of families was thus eliminated simply because their dealerships were not minority- or woman-owned.
The White House should panic. Millions of “white folk”, the ones bitterly clinging to their guns and religion gave him a chance and voted for him. Their trust has been broken … smashed actually.

Surprise, surprise. surprise, (not!) the Sunday talk shows are chattering about Cain defeating Romney and Perry in the Florida straw poll.
What is left unsaid is that the real surprise to them is that the voters are not following the MSM & GOP elites narrative on who is likely to run against the fraud Obama.
Their narrative has no room for Herman Cain and so they barely/rarely cover him. Why bring attention to a man who can really turn this country around, right? And so they speak his name in whispers or not at all! All of that changed yesterday.
One of the lessons to be learned in the 2012 election is name recognition isn’t everything. It’s the message that counts! Simply put so even a Progressive “journalist” can understand, the truth will out!

You tell me! MSNBC, CNN, the LSM are spending hours of programming time tearing Herman Cain down. Their loathing of this man is palpable. The only thing missing as they “report” on Cain is spittle as they say his name.
OK, I’m trying to figure out what that kind of physical gesture that wasn’t overtly sexual, could be.
If Cain whipped “it” out and placed it on the table THAT would be suggestive. But no, it can’t be that. Did he place his hands in his ears and go, “Bugga,bugga, bugga”?
The headline screamed, “Louisiana Bans Cash!” When I heard this two days ago I thought it was a joke, but this isn’t funny and it’s no joke.
The State of Louisiana has banned cash sales on all 2nd hand goods. Yes, boys ‘n girls you can no longer go to a swap meet, antique store, garage sale, etc. and use cash to purchase your items .
This is a shocker, but not surprising considering today’s job numbers and the direction the economy has been going since Team Obama took over. The U.S. economy is literally in shambles, a fact that hasn’t gone unnoticed by China.
