ATLANTA, GA , October 12, 2010 –

In a stealth move no professional pol saw coming, the camps of Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin have come together to announce the first all women’s ticket to run for the White House and the offices of President and Vice President of the United States of America.

The announcement came as a shock, stunning Washington insiders of every political stripe.  When told, many were simply dumb founded and speechless.

The sounds of people fainting and hitting floor along with  numerous heads exploding  and ricocheting can only be described as deafening.

In secrecy reminiscent of our planned attack on Normandy, France during WWII, both political camps have been quietly moving forward in their efforts to run in a manner that is sure to change the face of politics in this country for decades to come.

Only a handful of people, including  First Husbands Bill Clinton and Todd Palin, knew of this historic political alliance between Hillary and Sarah.

The delicate work of integrating both political camps has already begun.  Former press secretary to President Bill Clinton, Dee Dee Meyers, along with many other Progressives who supported Barack Obama in ’08  instead of Hillary, will definitely not be part of this historic run for the White House!

Saving the biggest political surprise for last, Hillary Clinton announced that the Clinton/Palin ticket will run as independents.  They will not be affiliated with either the Democratic or Republican parties.

While both women have staked out different positions on a myriad of issues, they share a commonality of purpose  for this country.  Both are determined to demolish the so-called glass ceiling which has prevented women from holding the highest office in this country.

They also expressed their eagerness to help the U.S. get its people back to work, to reduce the deficit, and to see the useless schmuck currently in the White House is kicked out of office.

When asked to comment on what he thought President Obama is likely to think about facing a Clinton/Palin ticket, former President Bill Clinton winked and said, “Pay back’s a bitch!”

I am a professional woman … tagged as a “woman’s libber” year’s ago, I never liked the National Organization for Women. I always felt they denigrated women who decided to have children or chose to put their family ahead of their careers.

When Hillary Clinton was being torn apart by the MSM, NOW remained silent.  When Sarah Palin‘s family was being decimated and her newly born special needs baby Trig was mocked in the most vile ways NOW remained silent.

NOW finds the word whore offensive, offended when Beck called Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) a “high-class prostitute” on his radio show.

Ah, when that same word was used by the Brown campaign to describe Meg Whitman … nothing but the sounds of silence!

Yesterday, NOW  finally exposed the true nature of the organization with it’s endorsement of Jerry Brown, a man whose campaign had no problem calling Meg Whitman, the first woman to possibly hold the office of Governor of California, a whore. NOW is an abortion rights group … all the other stuff (equal rights for women etc.) was fluff.

I don’t care what a woman’s political party is, she has a right to her views.  When people start throwing pejorative, vicious slurs at a woman for any reason, I have zero tolerance for this kind of crap!

In my book, if you call one woman a whore you are calling all women whores. If you remain silent you are as guilty as the abuser. Calling any woman a whore is verbal abuse … period!

We all know the primary meaning of whore, but there is a secondary meaning that fits here, that being venal or unscrupulous NOW and Governor Moonbeam are wedded together … whores forever.

Governor Moonbeam, who once said, “If it babbles and its eyeballs are glazed it probably comes from California”, has no problem with his staff calling his opponent Meg Whitman a whore … no outrage, no apology, no nothing!

Earlier this year he also compared Ms. Whitman’s advertising blitz to Hitler’s propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels.

While I’m at it, let us not forget the jab Brown took at Bill Clinton, raking up images of the past with Monica Lewinsky.

Brown’s a classless jerk and a bore!

The Whitman campaign responded by saying:

“Meg Whitman is a pro-choice woman who was ranked among the world’s most accomplished women in business,” said Whitman campaign manager Jillian Hasner. “She’s now running to become the first woman governor in California’s history, and on the same day that it’s reported Jerry Brown’s campaign called her a ‘whore,’ the National Organization [for] Women endorses him.

It’s official: NOW is a partisan organization.”

The following is a comment from Sophia 5 at the Daily Beast (an unfortunate name for website managed by a woman):

Of course NOW is about Abortions.  Isn’t ironic, how some women who support abortion rights, just might be the same women who GO NUTS, SCREAMING and HOLLERING over wolf hunts.

Lets see . . . Fetus . . . or . . . Wolf . . . which one should have more rights ?

More about Brown here.

Calling Senator Harry Reid a water boy for the Obama Administration and blasting him for helping to shove the odious Obamacare down the throats of Americans, the Las Vegas Review Journal has endorsed Tea Party candidate, Sharron Angle.

According to the Washington Times:

The race between Ms. Angle and Senator Reid remains tight. The latest Rasmussen poll shows Mr. Reid with only a one point advantage:

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Nevada shows Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid with 48% support and his Republican challenger Sharron Angle with 47%% of the vote when leaners are included. Four percent (4%) like another candidate in the race, and one percent (1%) are undecided.

This, as they say, is a very big deal particularly since the Review Journal is Nevada’s largest newspaper.

In recent years newspaper endorsements haven’t carried as much weight as they have in past elections, but this Nevada where relying on stereotypes, particularly in Las Vegas, is fool hardy as best.

I love Colbert.  He’s a funny, smart, insightful comedian despite the fact that his politics go a little too far left for my tastes.

That having been said, I don’t know whose idea it was for him to testify in front of a Congressional committee on immigrant farm workers this morning, but as far as I’m concerned his presentation bombed … and not because many of his lines weren’t funny.

What works on the Colbert Report sounded inane in front of the House Judiciary subcommittee.

Stephen, what were you thinking? Hello! Earth to whoever thought this was a good idea. Did you think because  so many of the 30 and under crowd get their “news” from the Colbert Report and The Daily Show that this “testimony” would be taken seriously. Were you really so full of yourselves?

According to the Globe’s Political Intelligence, Colbert was asked to leave:

Colbert asked to leave Judiciary hearing

Comedian Stephen Colbert had barely seated himself at a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing this morning when US Representative John Conyers, Democrat of Michigan, asked him to leave. Conyers said the committee had not seen so many reporters at a hearing since presidential impeachment proceedings in the late 1990s, and he wanted Colbert to leave so that the committee could carry on with its work.

If this was an attempt to embarrass those who want the illegal immigration problem to be handled smartly and effectively, it backfired … BADLY! Y’all embarrassed yourselves.

Are the Democrats in Congress a Bunch of A**holes? More on DADT!

Did Jon Stewart really have to ask?

Of course they’re a bunch of assholes who have been running around believing that we, the voters of this country, are to be treated like Homer Simpson.

We aren’t supposed to be smart enough to see the legislative slight of hand for what it was … a way to blow smoke up the rear ends of everyone who supports DADT.

The Democrats purposely didn’t give DADT a chance of passage two days ago, as I wrote about yesterday.

This didn’t escape Jon Stewart.

Let me say this again, if Obama and the Dems wanted to pass DADT they could have passed it.

They had the votes and the sentiment of most of the American people behind them.

Make no mistake,  if Team Obama and the Dems in Congress wanted to pass Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DADT), it would have been a fait accompli  … passed many months ago.

Instead the Democrats gave us another dog and pony show. The vote was theater and a fraud.  It was also an insult to the Gay & Lesbian Community that supported the Poseur Obama.

Senator Harry Reid attached the DREAM Act (hereinafter called the albatross) and a repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell to a defense authorization bill.  Now what does the Dream Act have to do with DADT and what was the rationale behind attaching it to a defense authorization bill?

The answer to the first question, is not a damn thing.  As to the rationale for attaching the three bills, that’s easy.  It’s an oft used tactical ploy used to hinder the passage of legislation (A) by tying it to another legislative piece (B) knowing full well that the opposition cannot vote for both pieces.

It is a way to use the opposition as cover to “obstruct” legislation that would have passed (or likely would have) if it had been voted on as a stand alone piece of legislation.

And so, Harry Reid and the Dems got an “issue” they think will get them some mileage in the November elections. Poor dears, they still don’t get it, do they?

“See, it was those nasty ole Republicans who blocked DADT.  It wasn’t us … we’re on your side.  Cross our collective hearts!”

The tragedy is that DADT is still official military policy almost 18 years after it was originally passed.  DADT WAS supported by Republican Senators John McCain and Susan Collins of Maine in addition to Admiral Michael Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

“A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Tuesday indicates that 78 percent of the public supports allowing openly gay people to serve in the military…. ‘Support is widespread, even among Republicans. Nearly six in ten Republicans favor allowing openly gay individuals to serve in the military…. There is a gender gap, with 85 percent of women and 71 percent of men favoring the change, but support remains high among both groups.’”[CNN Polling Director Keating Holland, 5/25/2010]

The military and our country needs every qualified man and woman that wants to serve.  We have lost some very fine soldiers and officers because of this policy.

My position on DADT is very simple.  Unless the men are wearing feather boas with their uniforms like Sergeant Klinger or the women are wearing jock straps … if they are qualified and lead dignified lives let them be!  Let them serve!

CNN’s lead story this morning at 9:00 was about comments made by Christine O’Donnell in 1999 when she was on the Bill Maher show, then called Politically Incorrect. It was a time when hair was big and Maher was funny.

Do you think there are any grown-ups left in Progressive/Democratic Party or in the MSM?”, she asks rhetorically. Obviously, the answer is a resounding NO! Just listen to (surprise!) Rachael Maddow, as she relishes in this silly monologue.

The truth is they (CNN, MSNBC, et al) all behave like drunks locked up in a room with a gallon of vodka. They cannot help themselves… slurp, slurp, yum, yum. She’s a witch you gotta switch… yea!

They have become sooo predictable that you can set your watch by their latest “revelations”. OK gang, let’s get ready for another onslaught of newsless news akin to how much money was spent on Sarah Palin’s clothes during the ’08 election.

You’ll be happy to know that CNN and their crack team of investigative journalists have come up an expense of $19.80 that Ms. O’Donnell apparently charged her campaign … the inference is illegally charged her previous campaign. There are other expenses as well, totaling… hmmm, five or six hundred bucks?

Well, with liars, crooks, and thieves like Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Tim Geithner, Tom Daschle and others, I’m thrilled that CNN could identify that $19.80! I will definitely sleep better tonight knowing CNN is tracking massive fraud like the this.

Of course this begs the question (s), how did CNN miss Michelle Obama’s $540 sneakers, or her $400 champagne and lobster lunches at fancy schmancy NYC hotels. There’s more course, no need to go on. You know the drill.

See, what’s supposed to happen next is anyone who supports O’Donnell or is thinking about it is supposed to run away kicking a screaming… hair afire.

And these jerks in the MSM wonder why the Tea Parties across this country have become so entrenched. As Bugs Bunny used to say “What a maroon, what an ignoranimus.”

Here are the statistics.  According to Palin’s endorsement record is impressive. Of the 36 candidates facing contested primaries that she has endorsed, 25 have won. That’s a win ratio of just under 70%. Opps, looks like the grass roots Tea Party movement is the real deal!

Gov. Sarah Palin in Dover, NH Sarah Palin, the tough, astute, savvy politician that the MSM and their Democratic/Progressive  pals are fond of mocking and portraying as a dullard is whipping the pants off the Washington establishment.

Portraying Palin, the Tea Party, and conservatives of every persuasion as racists (that one’s getting old isn’t it?) spoilers, angry, and demented has come with a price … defeat at the ballot box!  Yes!

It has been grand fun listening to the pundits on MSNBC and CNN, and the likes of Bill Maher and the hideous Michael (can I squeeze another cheeseburger into my mouth) Moore continue to rant and wring their hands as they get the Tea Party movement wrong! They still don’t get it!  I’m guessing that’s because they have no concept of what it means to act on principle and hold adherence to the law as an American ideal.

They continue to rant:

that the Tea Party is leaderless and will never impact the country (leaderless in vague sort of way, yes, but the TP impact is transformative).  The flip side of that coin is that Sarah Palin (and Rush, and Shawn, and Glenn)  all lead the Tea Party (definitely wrong) and are in bed with the GOP (wrong, again as the O’Donnell win in Delaware demonstrates).  The TP hates Obama (wrong, his policies not the man).  Those in the multitude of Tea Party organizations across the country don’t understand the Constitution (Really?), they are afraid of Mexicans (no, we just want our laws enforced and our borders protected).

And, we must not forget the standard delegitimizations;  Palin, conservatives, Tea Party members, and all those who oppose Obamacare, TARP, and the radical agenda of the Democratic Progressives are white, uneducated, gun loving, frightened, confused, and myopic … incapable of seeing the greatness of Socialism and the New World Order.

The real shock though has come from Karl Rove and the other sore losers in the establishment GOP in Delaware, Alaska, and elsewhere in the country.  Christine O’Donnell won in Delaware because her opponent voted for TARP and increasing the deficit, Cap ‘n Trade, and would not support the repeal of Obamacare.   O’Donnell’s opponent, Mike Castle, was worse than a RINO (Republican in Name Only)!

And it gets better.  Harry Reid recently called Chris Coons avowed Marxist and O’Donnell’s opponent in November, his pet! God, gag me with a spoon! (Where is that barf bag?)

What does all of this mean?  Well, here’s a heads up for those currently in power  (Republicans and Democrats alike) who continue to disregard the obvious.

The American people have found their voice.  Our expressed wishes for the direction of the country will no longer be diminished, disrespected, and ignored.  In the very same way the MSM and the liberals and Progressives on cable have made themselves and their companies irrelevant, so too are the two controlling political parties in the country racing to make themselves irrelevant.  Christine O’Donnell’s win wasn’t a fluke … her win is the future!

Now, the question is will the former power brokers in the Democratic and Republican parties  go the way of the horse and buggy!

Let me state up front, I love D.L. Hughley … always have.  He’s genuinely funny.

He can also be raw (close your ears if you can’t take the MF-word).  Most of all he’s authentic, and I believe this is a man with a good heart.

He was one of the few people during the Imus debacle a couple of years ago who was honest about what had happened.

When the country got caught up in its faux outrage because Imus uttered  senseless, unkind, gratuitous comments about the women’s basketball team from Rutger’s at 6:30 one morning, D.L. was there, essentially saying, “It was a joke!  Can’t you all grow up?”

This video is a response to those who wanted him to apologize about the his Rutger’s joke on the Jay Leno show.  What does this have to do with Dr. Laura.  Everything!

I’m in agreement with D.L. People seem to be most upset because Dr. Laura used the word 11 times, as if there’s a quota.  Again, I’m in agreement with D.L.  Free speech has a zero sum quotient.  Period!  You believe in it or you don’t.  “Ya, buts” aren’t allowed.  Don’t know what a “ya but” is?  “Ya, I meant it here, but I didn’t mean it there!”

The unintended consequences of PC babble or hyphenated dope speech are profound.  Using hyphenated non words to replace a word that offends some people, gives the offending word more power.

Instead of erasing the offending word from our consciousness using the silly ass substitution implants it.  Why?  Because stopping to replace an offending word with a hyphenated non word takes extra time … and thought … ensuring the offending word never goes away!

Using hyphenated non words is akin to carrying around the skeleton/dead carcass of an animal for 100’s of years …  always dragging that sucker behind.  Why?

To show the horror of a particular act or circumstance?  Or perhaps to use as a tool … a tool to show how you became a victim of something that never personally happened to you.  Ya, that’s it!  My, what a good tool to have on one’s arsenal of why I am where I am in life.  We all know how victim card must go hand and hand with the racism card … right?

Evil is as evil does.  Prohibiting free speech,  even ugly hateful speech in a free society is evil.  There are no “ya, buts” about it!

I swear to you that I have never called one of my Italian friends the G- word or one of my Jewish friends the K-word or my Irish friends the M- word.

Say What? Does anyone know what the hell anyone is talking about anymore?

The quote above came from a blog I read quite often. As soon as I read it, I thought WTF is the Italian G-word? I know of an Italian W-word but no G-word. The K-word I got, but WTF is the Irish M- word? The above quote reminded me of a newscast I heard a few years ago with three talking heads discussing womens issues.

One talking head said something to the other talking head that included 4 or 5 non-word words! I believe there was a C-word, a B-word, an S-word and a T-word. SAY WHAT? I remember thinking what the heck did I just hear? No, make that non-hear!

Which brings me back to the silly ass concept that the best way to obliterate an offensive word is to hyphenate it into obscurity. Yes, that’ll do it alright.

Of course, it does exactly the opposite because of the time and effort it takes to suddenly stop talking like an adult and turn into a ten year old.

Take the N-word that Dr. Laura “went off” on last week. Yes, she said “the word” out loud,”Nigger, nigger, nigger!” For your viewing pleasure:

Now that you’ve heard the entire tape, does anyone think Dr. Laura used the word in question as a pejorative club? No. Her point was that certain segments of our population use this word just to say hi, however if you are melanin challenged you cannot use the word. That’s asinine.

What’s worse, this kind of intolerant behavior sets all of us backwards… it separates us… needlessly angering people on all sides.

To which I say, if that’s how we’re gonna play, then from now on, if you have an excess of melanin you can no longer use the C- word (no that “C” word) … Cracker. From now on, its “I’ll have some cheese and C-words, thank you.” If you’re Anglo-Saxon and you own a parrot you can say, “Polly want a cracker?” Not Anglo-Saxon? That’ll be,”Polly want a C- word” to you, Bub.

I’ve thought on more than one occasion that I’m glad I’m not bringing up children in this poisonous climate having to explain all these hyphenated non-word words. There are so many better ways of teaching tolerance and forgiveness!

I remember one summer evening when I was about 7, I was chanting, “Eeny meeny, miny, moe, catch a nigger by the toe, etc” I had no idea what I was chanting. To this day I don’t even know where I first heard the word. It wasn’t from my family, that I know. It didn’t matter to my mother who only had to hear me say it one time. She was down on me in a flash.

She told me that what I had said was unkind and could hurt people… I was NEVER to use the word again. I never did. The word in question wasn’t hyphenated, it was changed to something non-offensive.

We used to teach the concept that the use of crude words are a reflection of the people uttering them. Crude speech generally denotes someone who is either lacking in class, or lacking self esteem, or both.

Remember the old saying, that it is better to have people wonder why you didn’t speak than why you did? Seems to me that it fits here.

Now can we start talking like adults again and stop using all those non-word words?
