ABOUT

I began to blog in support of Hillary Clinton’s presidency in 2008.  In the months that have passed since the MSM and DNC, Howard Dean and a host of other criminals selected the United States’ first faux president, Barack Obama, I had no idea that I would be witnessing the dismantling of our system of government as our Founding Fathers originally envisioned.

They saw a Republic where our laws outweighed the cult of personality of any one man.

The ideal . . . that all men and women are created equally under the law. They envisioned a Republic where the tyranny of any majority would not be able to trample of the rights of the minority, of the (possibly) despised, of the visionaries, of those with little power or influence.

We have witnessed a man, clearly ineligible to assume the presidency of this country under Article II, Section I of our Constitution, place his hand on the Lincoln Bible and swear the uphold the Constitution of our great country.

The fight now, is to regain our country, now in the grips of a sad perversion and a mind set that has placed one man, Barack Hussein Obama ahead of all that we profess to hold dear.

I remain a political moderate . . . as hard on the convoluted idiocy of those on the left as I am on those on the right, and all those in between. I am particularly annoyed at those who talk big while demonstrating their inability to think anything but tiny little thoughts.

America is divided enough, no thanks to the selfishness of the two political parties and the mainstream media that feeds their gluttony. Watching the hypocrisy & cowardice of the MSM during the 2008 election has given me a harder edge in my assessment of those who run for office and run this country.

Nothing can be more important our ability to reach out to each other and share our opinions. We don’t have to agree with each other on every point, but if we don’t take the time to listen, particularly to those whose opinions (we think) will be offensive we might as well live our lives in the echo chambers the MSM has designed us for.

Interesting site. I’m thinking that it might be a good idea to explain how Hillary could justify not bringing up Obama’s ineligibility, if she knew it, and/or how she could take the SOS position in his administration. These are issues that are hard for me to reconcile, and I’m sure goes the same for many others.

I still consider myself a LIberal even though I am ashamed at what so many fellow-liberals have done in the cult of personality and the goal of just winning the presidency. Our first responsibility as citizens is to ensure that our right to vote is honored, and that our votes count. 18 million voters were told that there votes didn’t count. How can we possibly believe that our representatives will ever listen to us again (to paraphrase Howard Ickes) unless this a singly supported desire?

Hello, Sandstone. One of your most recent articles about Malcolm X, The Obamas, and their red dress makes a great correlation between them (http://www.hillarynme.com/2009/01/05/michelles-red-black-dress-a-tribute-to-obamas-father-malcolm-x/)

I use to admire black leaders like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and at one point Louis Farrakhan. Your article was in connection with another article I came across with and it seems there is more to it than meets the eye and this was most likely 50 years in the making. There is even more connections as well. This has to be the biggest and longest conspiracy in the history of the United States and International History ever….and I mean ever. Feel free to email me for more information you may need prior to posting. Thanks, Sandstone.

In reference to how I got your article:

While I have never been a fan of Hillary or Barry, I do like your site. I wish the truth would finally come out about Barry, the stuff is getting pretty deep.

We cannot, by ourselves, alone save this nation from its drive toward socilism, but together at the ballot box we can change the course starting in 2010 and then 2012; but it will take all of us who believe in the Constitution of the United States of America to make it happen. Please exercise your vote and vote the incubants out. If they are liberal or conservative makes no difference listen to what they say and watch what they do; conservatives who never rally around the consittution are no better than the liberal who also do not rally around our constitution. Vote for a constitutionalist and save the nation. It will take time but we need to start today, actually we needed to start yesterday. Help our Constitutional Republic survive!

    Wes:

Come on now, you don’t really believe what you parroted, do you? You are right, she’s not Hillary . . . a real loss for this country, but I’ll take a McCain/Palin ticket over Obama the Impostor any day.

My support for Palin is based on her core beliefs . . . her pro-life position is reasonable . . . she supports contraception, she’s a business woman … knows what it like to worry about meeting a payroll . . . she’s tough as nails . . . so many reasons to support her and not a one is just because she’s a woman.

  • Wes says:

Hmm, For Hillary but now defending Palin?

My original preference was for Obama but if Hillary would have won I would have supported her because both had the core beliefs that I have.

I call it as I see it. All you seem to want is a Woman in the White House. Who cares what her values or ideas are.

That is the definition of Sexism.

    Nick:

Thank you for your courteous comment, unlike Skip the “brain fried Obamabot” of a few days ago.

I visited you site . . . I’m not entirely sure of its main focus, but I’m happy to add to my blogroll where I welcome a diversity of opinions.

Just curious, what are your thoughts concerning the “Obama Truth Squads” in Missouri?

  • Nick says:

    Hey,

I happened to stumble to your site and was just browsing around. I must say, it is amazing to see certain people get so violent, whether by the stroke of the keyboard or otherwise, because of an election.

I think we ALL need to come together and realize the fact that it’s ok to disagree on issues or ideologies. People shouldn’t be called racists for disagreeing with Senator Obama. It is a historic event that he was selected as the Democratic nominee for President. But that also encompasses people that support him to not become vile or violent in their actions.

Other than that, I believe it will be a close race.
I would like for you to check out my site as well when you get the chance, spartantruth.org.

It is non partisan and free to join. Please pass the word to everyone. Thank you!

    Michael:

I came away with several great comments from the fabulous HBO series John Adams.

From John Adams,”Facts are stubborn things.” And the other is Ben Franklin saying, “I am an extreme moderate.”

I think that the Franklin statement best describes my positions. You fit right in with Ben and me. Hey, maybe that’s the name of another blog! Just joking.

Bill Clinton was taken to task for his ability to triangulate. Years later some of his harshest critics have come to admire that ability and said not only was Bill’s ability to triangulate “good politics, but good public policy, as well.” WE ARE IN NEED OF A LEADER THAT CAN BRING US GOOD PUBLIC POLICY!

Compare that with Obama. I don’t know about you, but I’m getting whiplash from all his changed positions. Really, does the man stand for . . . anything????

Thanks for visiting. I’ve added your site to my blog roll. This country needs more people with common sense, even conservatives! :-)

  • Michael Eden says:

I have to admit it, I’m probably closer to being “extremist” on the conservative side in my blog at http://startthinkingright.wordpress.com, but I TRY to be willing to moderate myself when I’m talking to a moderate.

The passing of Tony Snow today makes me rethink my “warrior” mentality. Tony Snow – even though a true conservative – somehow had the knack to be a true human being at the same time.

I’m still searching for the balance that he – and the recently passed Tim Russert – epitomized. America will come to miss both men greatly.
