You can’t fake authentic. Period.  Try as you might a fake is still a fake.

Today we have the ability to produce all manner of fakes.  Whether we are talking fake fish, leather, flowers, whipped cream, pieces of artwork, or a man sitting in the White House pretending to a Natural Born Citizen and legitimate President of the United States … they all share the same common denominator.  They look good from the outside, but upon closer examination their true composition and makeup is revealed.

Which leads us today and to the man the MSM and the Progressives touted as America’s transformational President. (Can I have an Amen?) He was going to bring us together and past the racial divide.  Nice thought … too bad not a word was true.  A recent poll shows America more divided about race than ever before.

The truth is, from the moment the Progressives Drug of Choice, Barack Obama, entered the White House everything has revolved around race.  Words are cheap and we know Team Obama by their actions … legislation that divides and punishes.

Pat Buchanan is spot on about why Team Obama is where it is today:

First was the startling accusation by Attorney General Eric Holder, days after Barack Obama was inaugurated in a gusher of good feeling, that we are all “a nation of cowards” when it comes to facing issues of race.

A real icebreaker for a national conversation.

Second was the instantaneous verdict of the president, when asked about the arrest of Harvard’s Henry Louis Gates by Cambridge cop Sgt. James Crowley. With no knowledge of what happened, Obama blurted out that the cops had “acted stupidly.”

It took a White House beer summit to detoxify that one.

A third was the revelation that Obama’s first Supreme Court nominee, Judge Sonia Sotomayor, the “wise Latina” herself, had gone to extremes to see that the case of Frank Ricci and the New Haven, Conn., firefighters never got to the Supreme Court. Ricci and co-defendants had been denied promotions they had won in competitive exams solely because they were white and no black firemen had done as well.

The fourth was the Justice Department’s dropping of charges against members of the New Black Panther Party, whose intimidation of voters in Philadelphia had been captured on tape.

When a department official resigned in protest and went to the Civil Rights Commission to accuse officials at Justice of ordering staff attorneys not to pursue such cases, that explosive charge, too, was ignored by Justice.

Race Played Role in Obama Car Dealer Closures

The Obama administration, already under fire for unprecedented allegations of racial bias, faces a new bias claim from a most unlikely source: one of the administration’s own inspectors general.

Decisions on which car dealerships to close as part of the auto industry bailout — closures the Obama administration forced on General Motors and Chrysler — were based in part on race and gender, according to a report by Troubled Asset Relief Program Special Inspector General Neal M. Barofsky.

[D]ealerships were retained because they were recently appointed, were key wholesale parts dealers, or were minority- or woman-owned dealerships. [Emphasis added.]

Thus, to meet numbers forced on them by the Obama administration, General Motors and Chrysler were forced to shutter other, potentially more viable, dealerships. The livelihood of potentially tens of thousands of families was thus eliminated simply because their dealerships were not minority- or woman-owned.

The White House should panic.  Millions of “white folk”, the ones bitterly clinging to their guns and religion gave him a chance and voted for him.  Their trust has been broken … smashed actually.

There’s a life saying that is particularly apropos here … you only get one chance to make a first impression.  For the Poseur President Obama, like all fakes,  there is no second chance! Maybe I should have said, “first time shame on you … second time shame on me!)
