MSNBC MAKES A MOCKERY OF OBAMA BIRTH CERTIFICATE COVERAGE… LIES TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC

Listen to what the MSM and pro Obama sites are NOT saying when they “report” on Obama’s birth certificate.

Any media source that reports on the Obama birth certificate story and doesn’t include a discussion of the Constitutional requirements to hold the office of POTUS, the term natural born citizen, or dual citizenship is trying to skirt the real underlying issues of Obama’s nationality at the time of his birth. They are lying to you and blowing smoke.

If you are new to the Obama birth certificate controversy … more accurately stated the Obama Constitutional crisis controversy here’s what MSNBC hasn’t reported in the last 24 hours, despite their frantic efforts to dismiss, destroy, marginalize, and otherwise discredit anyone with the temerity toquestion Obama’s eligibility to hold office.

These are the real issues:

There is a Constitutional requirement that anyone running to hold the office of POTUS must be a “natural born citizen” … not a naturalized citizen, not a native born citizen, not a person with dual citizenship … the requirement is for a natural born citizen. A natural born citizen is not the same as a native born citizen, or a naturalized citizen.

In order to be a natural born citizen, BOTH parents must be U.S. citizens; therefore it doesn’t matter if Obama was born in Hawaii, Kenya, Timbuktu, Canada, the moon, BOTH PARENTS HAD TO BE U.S. CITIZENS AT THE TIME OF HIS BIRTH FOR OBAMA TO QUALIFY FOR PRESDIENT.

The reason the Founders of our country made this distinction was because they feared a person born without this requirement might be subject to divided loyalities and thus be in a position to undermine or destroy the Republic (democracy is an inaccurate term here) they fought and died for. This is from a 2004 NY Times article written prior to Obama’s ascent to the Presidency:

The Constitution’s framers chose the term “natural born” not only to highlight the need for allegiance, but also to eliminate the possibility that foreigners could exert power over the fledgling government, according to constitutional experts.

When Obama was born, his Kenyan father was a British national, a fact acknowledged by Team Obama. However, because his mother was underage at the time of his birth, it was his father’s nationality that was passed onto Obama not his mother’s despite the fact that she was a U.S. citizen.

You should also know that it has been widely reported that Obama has spent over $950,000.00 with eleven different law firms blocking access to ALL records (birth certificate, college transcripts, health records, passport records, etc.) that would verify his eligibility to serve as president.

Obama’s first act upon entering the White House was to issue Executive Order 13489 blocking access to his records!

What does that mean for Obama’s loyalties to the US and ability to rule? The argument is that if a person is not a natural born citizen, then he would betray the country? Or is it that we fear he will put the interests of Kenya or Britain over the interest of the United States? Or are you worried that he won’t be isolationist enough? What, per say, do you want your county back from, other than the Democratic Party?

This sounds like the same trivial unfounded whining the Democrats made with chads and a Supreme Court ruling in 2000. What was the mantra then? “Get over it and move on for the nation”

Who are you to judge what is “implausible?” People do strange things all the time. You folks are doing some seriously strange stuff! Moreover, in your synopsis, Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. Is the fact that his mom took off for a university gig on the mainland now a disqualification for him to be president as well? Has anyone questioned Sarah Palin’s peripatetic college career? Would attending five different schools disqualify her? Or would her mother have had to do that?

You “frightened, ignorant, idiot white folks still prowling the streets and listening to right-wing talk radio,” to borrow from Klein again, really are despicable. This is racism plain and simple. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Commentary on University Emails:

For the BHO II Hawaiian Aug 4 1961 COLB to be accurate the following improbable events needed to occur:

1 month after starting classes, Stanley Ann Dunham, Barack’s mom, at age 17, got pregnant by the only African man on the entire chain of Hawaiian islands.
2 months after getting pregnant, she drops out of college.
3 months after getting pregnant, she marries BHO Sr.
10 months after her first day at the U of HI, she delivers BHO II and immediately leaves her parents, her new husband, and her home, to fly alone with a newborn 2800 miles to Seattle to start college at the U of W.
Stanley Ann Dunham does not return to Hawaii until AFTER BHO Sr left the islands for Harvard.

This is an implausible series of events made even more nefarious because Obama II in his 2 bio books never mentions his mom left Hawaii when she was married to BHO Sr, nor does he mention she was in Washington State during this time.

I’m going to quote Time Magazine columnist Joe Klein, who has perhaps the best interpretation of what the Birther movement is really about:

“Let me tell you what this is all about: The President of the United States is named Barack Hussein Obama. He is the first chief executive of this grand and good nation not to be melanin-deprived. There are a fair number of frightened, ignorant, idiot white folks still prowling the streets. They listen to right-wing talk radio. They show up at Republican town meetings. They can not believe that a man named Barack Hussein Obama could actually have been elected President. I must admit, I relish their discomfort. But I wish they’d go away.”

He’s got you folks nailed. There are a lot of us who hear the dog-whistle.

Dr. Larson – you need to do some research yourself. The OP has it perfectly correct; while you seem not to understand that there is a distinct difference in US Citizen and Natural Born Citizen when it concerns POTUS. Obama MAY very well be a US Citizen, but he most certainly is NOT a Natural Born Citizen as required by the Constitution.

If he were born outside of the US, he most definitely is NOT a Natural Born Citizen, due to his mother’s age at the time of his birth. The laws on the books at the time stated she must be age 21 at the time of his birth to have passed on Natural Born Status.

Bottom line – it makes NO DIFFERENCE where Obama was born. What matters is the citizenship of his parents. 1 was a US Citizen and 1 was a British Subject – giving Obama dual-citizenship AT BIRTH, making him ineligible to legally be POTUS. He is an usurper. Period – End of Argument!

The real question is this:
During the election, then Senator Obama published a statement at his website which said that his birth status was “governed” by the British Nationality Act of 1948. Can you please tell the American people how a natural born citizen of the United States can be governed – at birth – by British law?

  The only place I might disagree with you (slightly) is his mother’s age … it impacts on his citizenship whether he was born inside or outside the states. There is a strong case to be made that Obama was born a British subject. At best Obama was born with dual citizenship, which as you point out makes him ineligible for the office of POTUS. Clearly he was not born a natural born citizen.

I don’t question that you are a patriotic citizen. In this case you are not informed however. If you had bothered to read the laws on US citizenship on the State Dept’s website, you would have found that whether he was born in New Jersey, Kenya or Beijing, as long as his mother was an American citizen, so was he. Anyone born to a mother who is an American citizen is automatically a citizen as well. End of argument! Before you question the president of the United States, do your homework.

You state that both parents must be citizens, however you did not read your own link. This is from that link:

“In many circumstances, even though a child is born outside the United States, if at least one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of the child’s birth, the child automatically “acquires” citizenship. When this child marries and has children, those children may also acquire U.S. citizenship at birth.”

Since this is the “most transparent White House in history” why can’t we see that birth certificate without relying on picture files validated by factcheck and snopes? I want my country back.
