This is so profoundly shocking and disturbing, that it almost leaves me speechless.
The Obama campaign has enlisted the help of law enforcement officials in Missouri to target anyone they feel has lied or used produced misleading lies about Obama.
Of course, how one defines or differentiates truth, lies, rumor or innuendo is unknown. The Obama campaign is going after some pretty big targets, including the NRA! I guess, the only requirement is for the Obama campaign not to like something.

The campaign also sent “threatening” letters to several news agencies in Pennsylvania and Ohio demanding they stop airing ads exposing Obama’s gun stance, according to the National Rifle Association.
The effort appeared to be part of a move by the Obama campaign to block advertisements to which it objects.
{…} The Obama campaign asked members of Missouri’s law enforcement to target anyone who “lies” or issues misleading television ads. Formation of the Obama “Truth Squad” was the result, the report said.
This bears repeating, the truth campaign is being conducted by District Attorney Robert McCulloch and another prosecutor, Jennifer Joyce, along with a number of sheriffs throughout the state.
“They will be reminding voters that Barack Obama is a Christian (emphasis mine) who wants to cut taxes for anyone who makes less than $250,000 a year. They also say they plan to respond immediately to any ads and statements that violate Missouri’s ethics laws,” the report said. (To which my immediate response is, “Are you f#%$ing kidding me?)
“We want to keep this campaign focused on issues,” Joyce told the station. “We don’t want people to get distracted. Missourians don’t want to be distracted by the divisive character attacks.”
The campaign was assembled to “set the record straight,” they said.
Let’s just go with the obvious for a minute.
There is evidence out there that suggests that BHO is in fact a Muslim. There are numerous copies of records showing this to be true. Then there is the Phillip Berg law suit in Pennsylvania which contends Obama isn’t eligible to run for the presidency.
In other words, there are people across this country that hold strongly held views about Obama that they believe are true.
What’s next, the elimination of free speech? Thought police? Brown shirts with the Obama logo on the arm band? And, who is paying for these law enforcement officials to run the “Truth Squad” . . . the taxpayers?
Does US Code allow for a District Attorney, a prosecutor, and assorted law officials to conduct a political maneuver whose purpose is to restrict free speech and intimidate anyone opposed to Obama?
BTW, this final video shows why many question Obama’s brand of Christianity.

I have never been as disheartened about this country as I am right now.
We have a presidential candidate that has sought to suppress free speech with the kind of intimidation tactics used in a police state . . . and the MSM remains silent!
We need to be contacting the key players in the MSM and demanding that they cover the Missouri story and the news stories surrounding these issues. Enough talking to each other. It’s time to take action.
I will be contacting ABC, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, the NY Times, and the WaPost. Yesterday I canceled my subscription to Time Mag with a note detailing the reasons why.
I’m also going to contact the FCC and question whether the lop sided political coverage of Obama has crossed the line into outright advocacy and is a violation of FCC rules. Glimpsing Janet Jackson’s breast for a nanosecond was obscene? The “news” coverage of Obama is obscene!
Don’t know if it does, but if the FCC gets enough letters they will have to react in some fashion.
Please do the same and ask anyone who thinks these issues are critical to the survival of democracy, do the same.
